Well, I first thought of this when I saw that random guy mentioning clans. Can this game support clans? If so, would a clan forum maybe be beneficial at all? Honestly I don't know so it's not really much of a suggestion, I'm just throwing it out there.

Not gonna lie, I could see some sort of a "Halo 3 vs. Halo Wars 'Whats harder'" battle taking place at some time.

Hmm. Actually I think the idea of remaking the Halo 3 clans forum into one forum. Even though there will be two different games being played, it wouldn't be too hard to distinguish between them. If a clan was Halo Wars strictly, they could just put (Halo Wars) after their name. Besides, most clans play multiple games and would probably end up playing both Halo 3 and Halo Wars. Also, this way clans that play bother (which are currently located in the Halo 3 clans) would not have to "relocate" to a new forum to discuss the same things they are discussing now. Or they don't need to have 2 different clan threads while neither gets much activity. I don't think there would be a conflict between the different games. If someone makes a thread about Halo Wars VS Halo 3 in there, that doesn't even belong in there in the first place and would be closed. I suppose the biggest advantage would be more activity for clans that play both games. When people see that a forum is active, they are more likely to post there. If there are two separate clan forums, they wouldn't be as active. If there was one, it would be twice as active and probably twice as likely to grow twice as fast.

Yeah, that would work. If a clan participated in both games they could just leave their clan name as the thread title. If they were a strictly Halo Wars only clan, they would put [Halo Wars] after their name.

Oh yeah that would make sense. That would be more up to the clans themselves rather than clans in general. A combination of your idea and my misinterpretation could work.

Well, I submitted the idea to Q22 to see what he thinks about it. I suppose we'll find out how he likes it if he goes ahead and changes the Halo 3 Clan forum over to the Halo clan forum or if he replies telling me the idea sucks. In that calm soothing gentle way that doesn't make me feel too bad even if it does suck.

So yeah. Well, I'm not Jeffroe, as you can see. However, I do represent the Halo Clans forum, which is where all Halo Wars clans should be located in.

All Clan threads should now be located in this forum. Both Halo Wars clans and Halo 3 clans will both be located in this thread. A copy/paste of my announcement in the Halo Clans forum:

So I guess to answer your question, your thread should be located in the forum I linked to
