	'k, after re-sizing an image, how can i change the resolution so it doesn't look distorted? (using MS Paint here) this seems like a really stupid question, i know (me sowwie) but can any1 help me, plz? i have a banner that i have to get up by Sunday (don't ask why), so if any1 can answer, it'd be very much appreciated & i'll become ur servant for life... -------------------

	Ah, .TIF is a kind of file that safes Layers and Channels, somting like a PSD. Just open it up in your favorite image program, file > save as > ***.gif .

	MS Paint eh? I dunno, the quality of it looks great, that is until you save it. The only advice I can give you (seeing as you only have MS Paint) is to try saving as a .BMP, it will push up the kB but it may look better.

	i only have MS Paint for the moment...& the resolution is stuck @ 96x96 dots per inch...& i can't change it... so my banner looks really messed up when i make it smaller...it's like 760x166 pixels originally, so i obviously have to make it smaller...can't use it in my sig... is there a method to rectify this on Paint? i changed the size to 380 x 83 pixels, & it looks ok, but the text is hard to read, cuz it's small... -------------------
