Surely if you want all the layers to have a border you only need to add a border to the top layer?

The Channels Palette should be next to the Layers Palette. If it's not there then check for it in the Windows drop-down menu or try pressing F7 to toggle the Layers Palette.

1) Make a new layer above your avatar layer. Go to your rectangle tool, hold it down, and click the rounded rectable tool. Up above, in the middle, give it a radius of 30.

2) Make a new layer and put in the shape you want your avatar to be.

3) Use the magic wand and highlight the shape you made

4) Go up to Select > Inverse

5) Click on your avatar layer and hit delete and BAM!

You cant possibly resize animated graphics on Photoshop can you?

@ TJ D: Open the picture on ImageReady, from there, export it to Photoshop.
@ Aphex: Have you saved it in "Maximum Compatibility"?

Does anyone knows where is ImageReady on CS3? I can't find it, and I need it...

tornjinx, click where you would use brushes normally then the arrow in the little drop down palette. Choose load brushes and select the brushed from wherever you saved them.

Alright, thank you man, i finally got it.

Look here to make Crazy Background designs.

Save it as a jpg.
File>Save as..then type in your filename followed by .jpg.
