I haven't used flash in a while but I'm currently using Flash 8. I've tried to make FADING text but it's not working.

I tried the only method I know of which is converting text into a movie clip, Apha 0 and then motion tween along a few frames to alpha 100. It's not working when I test the animation and it also won't work when I test it on the Internet. I don't want to manually animate the text fading as I also want it to move AND I'll be doing it for a few sentences so I don't want 20 mins just for a few fades of text. Good for future use, too.

So, is there something wrong with my Flash 8 settings, publish settings or is there another way to FADE text in and out?
