	Log in to remove this sponsored message I am not being cocky. I actually learned some Flash in college (and some AS) and totally love it, but as I know that you can't view it on Apple products, I am wondering where it is used. I mean it must still be popular, as there are so many people in this forum. I am also getting into JS and jQuery. Is there a way to embed it in jQuery? Just very curious and have been meaning to ask for quite a while. Thank you in advance for any responses.

	Flash is still used because not everything has been fully adopted to use HTML5 yet. In fact even Android devices have no native Flash support and those devices now completely outnumber the number of iOS devices. Even then Flash player still works on the older Android devices and unless its been fixed now, there are still ways to unofficially install Flash player onto Android. Since Flash support still works on all major desktop browsers (althoygh I'm not entirely sure about Safari, Chrome and Windows 8), HTML5 only works completely on the latest versions of browsers and not everyone keeps everything up to date so they can't just completely axe something that people still use. With regards to JavaScript and JQuery, I'm not entirely sure but that level of interactivity wasn't quite designed for JavaScript. I suppose the only other way would be to export your animation as a movie file but that would lose its interactive action scripts. It has been awhile since I've used Flash so I might be mistaken in that regard.

Hi harbin, you are right. there is still a demand, but you are usually required to create Flash files and also animated Gifs as a mobile fall-back

	It costs companies lots of money to move from HTML5 to Flash. Why rewrite something again? Most people still use Flash. It'll take a while but Flash will mostly be gone some day.

	As awesome as HTML5 is, it's a hell of a lot of work to create animations with compared to Flash, since you can't create HTML5 animations in an application. Flash will become eventually become obsolete once people start being trained in HTML5 from the start, after all, if you can make animations as good as this and this purely using HTML5 for free, why would you, as a company, spend a ton of money buying the Adobe collection? ------------------- Gamertag/PSN: iBeZi
