	Log in to remove this advertisement Yeah, I just store all my files in a folder on the separate HDD and then create a link to it in the "Favorites" section of the sidebar in explorer. I also have a kind of archived graphics folder on my standard HDD and a current graphics folder on my SSD so handling files that I'm currently working on load up quickly. When I'm done with a project I move the files over to the archive. As I mentioned I essentially do the same thing with games. Just move the entire folder the game is contained in to my HDD from my SSD and move it back if I ever want to play it again. It takes some time to transfer a large game between the two drives but nothing compared to actually installing a game either off a disc or download.

	I'm sorry cause I live in the stone ages still, but do you ever have to defrag the SSDs? I have a few dollars stored up so I might take a crack at a SSD. I was looking at some Kingston SSDs there. Only thing is that I'll be spending my Diablo 3 money. =( ------------------- My PC

	No you never want to defrag an SSD, it will actually do harm rather than good.

	Yeah, SSDs have quite limited write capability (as in, writing data is what wears them down more than anything). Defragging your drive is just shortening the lifespan unnecessarily. ------------------- So what's the use of knowing the truth if no one's gonna believe you?

	I decided to ditch the desktop altogether and get a decent laptop. I've been using this ASUS since Christmas and I couldn't be happier. Not extremely jaw-droppping for gaming, but still pretty good. I'm owed over £300 from my last job and now my new job decides to emergency tax me again on my first wage, so I'm owed even more money now. Every time I phone the tax office they're telling me different things, not to mention it takes about 20 minutes just to get through to an operator. Congrats on your refund though, spend or blow the money wisely! -------------------
