A Noir Disposition

If you'll notice, this is the first piece I've done incorporating both illustration and real life stock imagery. That was really the concept to play around with going into it. I decided to keep things simple and over all it was relatively easy. Majority of the illustration is vines which are easily, easily made. The most time consuming elements by far were the bird and the flowers and as you can see I only bothered to do a couple flowers. I topped it off with a couple adjustment layers to seal the deal.

The concept behind the artwork is about having a noir disposition. A view on life which is black and white. You see things for what they are but it doesn't necessarily mean a macabre tone. Life is still interesting and engaging, even if you do see things in black and white.

O n i- I like it. The boxes on the right side are pretty cool looking. But Idk, it's too chaotic and the color is bland. But still good .



Made the Background from scratch with brushes and such. It took a while.

Celestial- As it stands it's a competent space piece but a lot of the features seem forced- particularly the colouring and the lighting on the planet. Try to add some variety among the stars- they're way too similar.

Bloc Party- V1 definitely. The effects don't seem as harsh.
