	Has this happened for the first time? or is this happening for a while now? If it only happened once, it must be a simple complication in the system. If it happens regularly, one of the core files must have been corrupted. I suggest re-reinstalling the product.

	I am not sure about the first one, but I know that you can save the picture as GIF the same way you do it in Photoshop CS2; However, if you are talking about Animated GIFs, you may want to check this. -------------------

	There are tons of options, really. You could try brushing, smudging, filters, gradient maps, C4D renders, etc. Do you have anything specific that you'd like to be able to do? Otherwise you're going to get a pretty generic response.
