Signature Of The Week v2.0

Alright, heres thread 2 of the Signature of The Week series. Please read the full thread carefully before entering. If you have any questions please post them here and I will try to answer them to the best of my ability. Also, watch this post as the rules and setup are constantly changing. Thanks

On Sunday a theme is chosen. Members have a week to get their entries in before the deadline. Example: On July 22nd the theme would be announced. Now there is no limit to how many may enter. When its a week after, July 29th, three judge will get together and choose a winner. After the judges have posted their verdict then I will post the theme for the next round. The winning signature is placed atop of the forum and gains recognition for that week.Basically, we want members who always do Pokemon to try something else, and the same for members who do nothing but Wrestling.

TheRules

ALL of your entries MUST be made entirely by you. No, that does not mean you can't get help/tips from others. It means you cannot take someone elses work and claim it as yours. Result in doing so can lead to severe consequence's.

Your entry MUST fit the theme. Failure to do so will get you disqualified.

You may only enter one signature.

Try not to exceed the maximum size limits for your banner, but I'm not really going to care that much if it does.

Your Signature must not contain any pornographic images of any sort. Use your common sense, Neoseeker has some younger members and I'm sure there parents wouldn't want them seeing that.

Your entry must be posted before the deadline. NO late entries will be accepted.

You can replace/edit your entry as long as it`s before the deadline. After that your entry is final and cannot be replaced.

Those are the current lists of judging. Any 3 of those judges may judge at the end of a round. The first three will be counted and then the next round will begin. This group of judges are still aloud to participate, they just can't judge for that round. If you feel you want to judge then simply state that you will be judging for this round and as long as you have some basic knowledge then you should be fine. These judges are just a list of the most common judges. I might update it someday but for now this will suffice.

Ah! Thanks for pointing that out Guugley. Also, I'll add you to the list of judges. New round will be posted shortly. Just working a few things out.

Theme: SOTW Header

Deadline: December 9th [Possible Change]

Judges: First three to post


To start off the new thread we have decided to make the SOTW theme, the SOTW theme header/design. Don't know what we mean? Well, having just the signature up there seemed kinda lame so we decided we needed a new design.

What are we looking for? Well, something like this. Note that it does not have to be in that exact order/fashion just something similar. When making your header be sure to go about by meeting the following criteria.

Links

We will want to have some links up there to importatn threads of the forum. Try to make links to Graphics Collage, SOTW thread, Rankings, and Thread Index. Just a heads up, it will be turned into an image map and although, it is optional to include links but it is highly encouraged as something judges will be basing their judgements on.

Creativity

Having it just in the same Arial font with no real style or anything is extremely boring. Try to spice things up with something new, different, and colorful. Make it grab the members attention when they see it

No double block header!

I'll use this as an example. See how ugly and cluttered this looks? We definitely do not want this as the header. This is G&A folks, we should be creating the best shit there is. Not this half-assed work.

Alright, lets see how this works out! Go at it guys and I extended the deadline as I wanted more entries and hopefully allowing people to take a little more time and effort to make these things look the best they possibly can. I myself will try to participate.

Haha, I'm awfully forgetful today.

Anyway, everything should be good now but if you see any mistakes, remind me and I'll fix them. Anyway, this round should be pretty interesting.

Sounds like a great idea A-Fex.

I better get cracking on an entry before I'm forced to put up Guugley's.

On a more serious note, this round is about as open-ended as they come. Feel free to encorporate what you want, how you want and don't feel that anything is taken for granted. Can't wait to see what everyone comes up with.
