The final bass in 19 isn't all that hard. It is the final boss in 18 that can cause you the most trouble. The hardest part about 19 is getting to the final boss. Lots of jumping and climbing. Just make sure you hold onto about 2-3 greater heals for chapter 19.

so far im at chapter 6. and i have to say it: playing with ryu is much more fun than rachel. but its a good add anyway

I'm up to fighting Doku for the second time. Ive stopped playing for the moment cuz it just gets too frustrating... I will finish it though, it's one of those games you gotta beat.

I've finished it on normal. Finished about half the missions and I'm just after defeating Alma mark II at the pyramid on Hard mode.

-Edit- Finished Hard mode, moving onto Very Hard now with my spankin' New Ryu fiend costume that's just uber awesomeness.

I wasn't good enough to get past *expletive removed* Murai on hard so I'm doing the missions. The difficulty of these is either hard or very hard (sod master ninja, I'd probably die jumping on that ninja in the intro!) which is good for practicing skills. I'll go back to story mode later.

Running through mission mode sometime before Hard and Very Hard is a good thing.

Often when going through the story mode on ND and Normal, you don't learn as much about the combat system. Mission Mode makes you learn the different techniques that have different effects.

If it hadn't of been for needing the Vigoorian flails during mission mode, I'd have never known that one technique could deflect shuriken.

Just finished my very first run through on normal. WOOOO!!
Only problem is my PS3 isn't online at home and my mate hase gone away on holiday for a month.
Enyone got a vague idea where I'd place on the board with a karma score of 9885792. It's my first time on NG so don't laugh too much

Probably not very high. Everyone that's in any way high on the leaderboards plays the game just for karma. Spamming UT's over and over in a place with infinitely spawning enemies.

I'm stuck on murai in the Dojo on Very Hard. I have 2 small elixers and half a health bar. I've been doing the missions lately though and I'm on the VERY last part.

Ishtaros on phase 5 of Eternal Legend. She's a complete bitch. I've killed her before, but this time I just can't hit her. I can physically see the sword going through her, but it doesn't count as a hit. She's so annoying, considering I have to beat 4 Hell Knights and Nicchae every time.

And if you think the Bone dragon was a push over Vol wait until you get to the Flame Dragon. Hit it with a ninpo and charge the dragon sword to full. Takes about 4 hits.

You should never waste ninpo on ghost fish. Unless it's the Spirit Doku fight, you're doing nothing but wasting it.

Flails. Jump X, XXX, Jump X, XXX, Jump X, XXX. That combo is infinite. Unavoidable, and you can't be hit through it. Just jump, no directions and press X in air. Upon landing, hit X three times, then jump again. You'll never be touched.

Naturally, that combo is from NGB, so just replace X with Square, and you're gold.

yeah i only use it when I'm being swarmed or going though the tower since theres a Team Ninja at the top
but the best is the Art of the Inuzaka
just be prepared for a corner attack
but as long as you have a fast weapon the fish go down faster the Racheal did againest Doku

Inazuma, and it's not good to use that either.

Thought it takes out, literally, hordes at a time, it's not that hard to stop them with a combo.
