I have two goals for posting this thread.

1. I pmed Avalith and haven't gotten a reply, so I figured maybe he's gone. I'm sorry Avalith if you are gone, but I'm posting this partly so you may see it and reply.

2. I also want everyone in the forum's opinion on this idea, since you all will be the ones looking at the header/footer everyday. After all, you guys should get a say in this.

A footer and header? Bring it on Christina! I like this idea since it IS coming out in what? 4 months.

Just like the rest of the forums have a footer and header, Why shouldn't the new HMDS have one too?

Mhmm, I think it would be nice to have a header and footer contest, but if you look at the forum activity I doubt that there would be a lot of entries. A lot of advertising... ehg I meant PM'ing to graphics makers should be made if you want a decent contest with a number of entries. Usually when the forum activity is short the mods of the forum or section appoints a graphics maker to make a header or footer for the forum until there's enough activity or participants at a point.

Nevertheless, I'm not all against it as long as people are willing to participate so that it's not a dead contest. 8D

Support from Avalith or Solon of Athens would be nice as well. =D

Haha, whoops. I've been meaning to respond to your PM christina, but I've been pretty busy lately and it must have just slipped my mind. Sorry about that.

But anyway, feel free to go ahead and have a header/footer contest if you'd like. Just make sure Solon of Athens or I gets a heads up when it's done so we can put the winning entry up.

What about putting all the headers up? There's some Javascript code that randomly picks a banner to appear everytime you load the forum page. So if only a few of you enter, it's a deadlock or there is more than one outstanding banner we can have them both be used as the header.

Just an idea, will leave you guys to organise the deadline and voting. Nice to see a forum use it's own initiative . If you guys got any questions or wanna drop me or Avalith a PM, don't hesitate.

About the roleplay part, I think we should hold up on that until the game comes out. This forum isn't active enough to have a roleplay at the moment, and would probably end up being a two-person roleplay, which is never fun.

I agree with Christina. A roleplay sounds very fun, but we have barely any members, and we know almost nothing about the game, only the characters and the main plot. That isn't enough to hold up a roleplay. When the game comes out next month we can rethink this.
