Just think about the fight between jango and obi-wan. A sonic about a foot long and 8 inches wide blew up a bunch of half mile asteroids. Now say my mine that is about 100 times that with a cloaking device. Big Boom.

And I think my hyperspace theory might do SOME damage, because its not like the whole outside shell of it is made of Cortosis (now that really would have bankrupted the empire).

Yes,but that only split the asteroids in half,and considering they dont have protective armor and are miniture to the death star not much would be done.As well as the fact that an escape pod dosent exactly have the most advanced steering capabilities,and thats far too large to squeeze through a gap in the sheild,so the sonic projectiles would be big lousy targets.


Im not saying no damage would be done,it would just take alot to do something crippling to the death star unless you hyp into the exhaust port...or if its the second, youd have to take it down the "fun" way.

Last time I checked, a one person escape pod is smaller in all 3 dimensions than a x-wing.

I ment for it to be large enough to do anything.

In that case it definatly dosent have enough carring capacity to even scratch the Death Star.

I don't remember the Death Star having a Sonic shield? The sonic mine works by making the atoms of an object rattle so violently that the molecular bond shatters. Even if the mine doesn't blow the Death star up, it might knock a few things loose.

It dosnet need sonic sheilding simply because it mass is hundreads of times greater than that of a sonic charge/mine/siesmic charge/any other sonic based weapon.
