OOC: Alright, since I'm a little late, how should I work myself into the RP? I'm a little confused, to say the least. Thanks.

EDIT: After reading a bit, is it alright if I join the battle now? I could figure out a way to do so. If so, here goes:

BIC:

Martel was fast asleep on his daybed. He lived in the house he grew up in as a child, and has remained since his brother's disappearance & the death of his parents. The house was quiet, and Martel tried to keep it looking nice, but sometimes it wasn't necessary to clean a part of the house that is virtually unused. The light shone in through the window pane on Martel's face. He cringed a little bit, and awoke. He quickly closed his eyes again & then sat up. He yawned as he stretched. "Mm, that was a nice sleep." he said to himself, as he dressed. He was getting ready to go to church, as he usually did, to prepare for afternoon mass with Bishop Wallace, and Mithos. Within the past few years, Mithos & Wallace have become his family, and the church of Zhang in general.

"MARTEL!"

a voice shouted from outside. Martel quickly finished putting on his robe and ran towards to the door. It flung wide open. It was Mithos, panting for air. It's impossible to run in robes, or at least well. His black hair hung over his face as he looked as if he was to vomit right on Martel's doorstep. "Bandits... Here... We... Fight..." he said, panting. Martel jumped a bit. "Bandits... In our town?" Martel replied, skeptical to Mithos' claim. Mithos was a year or two younger than Martel, and was also more rebellious than he was. A little ruse like this to get a scared reaction from Martel would make Mithos' day.

Mitho's breath seemed to be returning to him, as he said "No, bro, I'm serious... Look, quick!." He was interrupted by an arrow that nearly struck him, however he dodged out of the way by diving into the house, nearly tackling Martel. Martel scrambled to close the door & shut the blinds. He ran over to his bedroom & grabbed his staff. "Are you ready?" Martel said, flaunting the staff. "Yeah bro, let's do this." Mithos replied, getting up.

They both walked over to the door, and slowly moved it open. They peered outside, and clearly saw who the bandits were. "Hey, it looks like those bros over there are fighting too, we should go with them." Mithos suggested. "Certainly." Martel replied, as the two quickly sprinted behind the warring men to help out.

Oh Goddess... Please give me strength in this battle

OOC: I have no problem with you joining the battle. These guys seemed like they were in need of reinforcements, anyway.

Oh, one thing. These fellows who are attacking the village can easily be mistaken for bandits, so I allow calling them bandits, but remember that they are actually raiders. They are soldiers of the Kingdom of North. Oh, that reminds me of another thing. The North or just North will both do when talking about the Kingdom of North. North is the direction, but it also considered a name in this.

Now, I'm going to have to move for Kush, because I have decided that I should try to keep this going with a constant pace. Sorry... Oh, and if you're going to make those characters have the conversation, you should do it before it's too late. Do note that I'm not going to interfere with the player characters that much this time, since this is actual roleplaying. The only thing this has in common with the Empire is the map battles, and even they are different in style.

Anyway, Kushluk moves 1 north and 1 east. Now I can proceed with...

I apologize for the delay Legatus, I am just used to having things go slow XD I will make sure to stay more current, however if you ever need to move my guy because I don't keep up with things then please do so. Don't hold things up on my account comrade

Kushluk was carefully making his way toward the flank of the rogues when a steed literally blasted forth from the trees nearby him. By the looks of it the rider of the mount was as shocked as the pirate was and was a little slow stopping his steed thus making Kushluk fear being run over by the horse. So fearing of injury Kush dove to the side getting a mouthful of snow, and it was only after a few seconds of being expected to feel hooves on his back that Kush dared to unclench his teeth. He picked his head up and looked behind him to see the mount had indeed halted and the Kush got a good look at the rider.


He had a normal build but wore nomadic clothing with short black hair showing from his bandanna with a oriental teal earring on his left ear. The man's green eyes seemed to scan Kushluk with a puzzled look in silence, which unnerved the pirate slightly as he couldn't tell if the man was friendly or not. It was the man who spoke surprisingly first before he could in a cold tone "You a bandit?" The pirate stood up slowly dusting the snow off his heavy fur coat while replying "Was bout to ask the same damn thing. The answer's no, though if you are hunting bandits then we are on the same side on this day." The man didn't say a word but nudged his mount further into the snowy white forest and thus with no other lead the pirate tried to keep up with the Nomad.


As the Nomad paced himself so the lumbering pirate could keep up Kushluk introduced himself "Well I figure you won't fight beside a stranger so the names Kushluk Shimazu, that's Kush for short." The Nomad said sternly "Tasuk." That got a chuckle from Kush as he leaped over a fallen log to stay at the side of Tasuk "I guess your not one to speak much, fine by me then. As long as you can hold your own we'll be fine. So whats say we hit these raiders and give them a good brawl eh?" To this Tasuk merely nodded and the two new found allies tore through the forest closing in on the side of the bandits.

What the hell? Why are you putting up valuable mages on the front when they do the most damage? You should have put people like that soldier and axeman up front.
