	Wendy's joining stats with Iron Lance: HP : 19 POW : 11 Hit : 89 AS : 3 Eva : 12 CEva : 6 Def : 8 Res : 1 Barth's joining stats with Iron Lance: HP : 25 POW : 17 Hit : 94 AS : 5 Eva : 12 CEva : 2 Def : 14 Res : 1 Bors at Level 10 (Stat expectation at chapter 8) HP : 28 POW : 17 Hit : 98 AS : 7 Eva : 23 CEva : 8 Def : 14 Res : 1 In HM, Wendy just doesn't cut it having crap HP and Def (for her class) AND crap Eva AND crap AS. She gets doubled by EVERYTHING and EVERYTHING hits her and deals significant damage. Wendy just isn't durable enough to fight the enemies and catch up in levels with Bors and Barth. If she joined at Lv 5 or 6 or an earlier chapter, then she might have a chance. >.> -------------------

	Maybe if she wasn't extremely under-leveled and you got her to the right stage she wouldn't be sucking like that. Maybe the opposite? Or that didn't occur to you? -------------------

	The problem is that she IS extremely underleveled. "Maybe if she wasn't underleveled"? That's like saying "maybe if Saul had more luck" or "maybe if Marcus had higher growths". The next few chapters are actually even worse. Starting with the very next chapter, most enemies use axes. Axes, and she uses lances. Fun. Defense isn't her only problem. Her offense is just as bad, if not worse. She has terrible attack power, doing maybe 5 damage, never doubles ever, gets countered and likely killed when she attacks (fun stuff), and her hit is awful. She misses half the time. Wendy is indeed the worst unit in the game. On hard mode, at least. I'm not too sure about normal, having never played it, but it can't be too much different. Wendy will fare better, but so will everyone else. ------------------- ¯\(º_o)/¯

Congratulations. Wendy comes in extremely underlevelled, almost to the point of being unuseable. A good unit should not require large amounts of babying to get up to par. 	A lot of those are quite questionable... Anyway, the FE8 trainees are great units. Not using them because they require 'babying' shows laziness and a lack of effort. Wendy can end up the best General in the game...if you actually try instead of brushing her away. And if she's faring that badly WHEN SHE JOINS, she's not doing much better afterwards to GET Exp.
