re: Debate: character comparisons: units from a selected class range, the best candidate for that particular class |
quote GhostMember Chances are the only time you're gonna sing for someone is to make them go farther, barely giving time for supports. Especially when the fighter needs the kill something like 4 spaces away, and Lalum already danced.

Supports aren't important. What's important is that Oujay has better stats and is a better unit. Full-stop. ------------------- ![]()

But GM, you could easily move out of range of the archer, and avoid getting hit. You can dance around in there for a while before the main party comes. ------------------- ![]()

re: Debate: character comparisons: units from a selected class range, the best candidate for that particular class |
quote tomato13187There are 4 types of ways to get EXP. The first is by fighting. The amount of EXP you can get is limited by the amount of enemies there are, and therefore, that is your Fighting EXP pool. The second way is by using staves. The amount of EXP that your staff users can get is limited only by their level since you will definately get damaged in most fights and have to heal them. So, the Staff EXP pool is unlimited and is one of the best. The third way is by thieving, which is exclusive to Thieves. Thieving is limited by the amount of items that enemies have, and that is your Thieving EXP pool. The fourth way is by dancing/playing, which only Lalum and Elphin have. This EXP pool is limited only by Lalum and Elphin's level. Using Lalum and Elphin gets you 1900 EXP without having to take any EXP from the other EXP pools listed above. That is considered an advantage for them since your fighters need not share the experience with other units and they allow healers to heal more often. -------------------

quote? didn't you learn from debating with the gfaq ppl? 3 tiles is plenty of leeway. We wouldn't talk so much about supports if it weren't. ------------------- ![]() "It is good not to hurry. Everyone, little by little moves forward."

Well, it's pretty safe to say that Dieck is the best mercenary/hero, at least in comparison to Oujay. Though I'd say it's also safe to say that he outclasses Echidna. Even though for a prepromote, she isn't that bad. ------------------- ![]()
