jericho wtf

look, i like the game in all, its fun but, WTF is this possession bull-crap, i mean really, i liked being Ross not those two skanks some and some fat with a chain gun. This has to be the gayest storyline ever, i hate switching between people to get certain tasks done. i haven't beat the game yet, so i may take this back, but really, unless i somehow get back the REAL Ross i wont be happy.

PS. i really hate doing this, so don't ban me. just opinion

I've only rented it, and I don't think I'm even half way through it, but I love the story! I also like that they gave you a reason to be switching between your characters. I think the abilities really make the game great! I also like that you don't have to manage a huge bank of weapons. Just switch to who you like, and exploit their abilities.

I picked this up cheap a few days ago and am decidedly underwhelmed, I know it's a bit of an old one but it really is middling at best, I'm pretty sure I'd have thought the same if I'd gotten it closer to it's release.

It has some good concepts but they're poorly executed, though the possession thing, while at once a bit of a pain, gets a bit more bearable as you plough on (did for me anyway) and get a feel for how to use each character.

It's relentlessly difficult too, having said that once you switch your tactics from being a gung-ho lone psycho, like in most games, to keeping your team on their feet (you might as well be 'team medic' no matter who you're playing really) it takes the edge off.

Mostly it's the confined nature of the environments that makes for a frustrating experience, for pretty much every section I've played through the whole team gets dropped over and over because there's so little room for manoeuvre, it's only by virtue of being able to slow time and snipe that has prevented me throwing it into the 'trade-in' pile sharpish, though it's on it's way there shortly regardless.
