What do you think? |

If you've got the game, let us know what you think. I bought it yesterday and it's my first ever Burnout but I was expecting more..

In what way were you expecting more from it?
A huge, fully explore-able map, 75 cars, smashing your mates face's in, without prison sentences, huge jumps, hundreds of races. Seems like a pretty full game to me. ------------------- ![]()

The offline experience is not as good as it could be. You really need online to experience the best of this game.
I only play offline to earn a new car now and again. -------------------

Problem is, I've got a wireless router and had somebody come round and hook it up for me but now It's gone down and he seems like he can't be bothered to fix it..
I may be switching from Virgin Media to Sky soon though so I'll probably get them to hook the wireless router up that they give me. ------------------- ![]()

I think the learning curve is retarded. Its all good and fun until you get to the B license then its *bleep*ing bullshit. I can't even get or use half the god damn cars until I get the stupid burnout license but I'll probably end up throwing the game out the *bleep*ing window by then.

quote skaresthis part if off topic i know, DONT GO ON SKY BROADBAND!!!! i have it, its SH!T, NTL was better for internet and thats sayin somethin, im havin a bad time with sky broadband right now, my internet keeps goin off and then comes back on like not long after, it does this like at least 5 times a day its startin to piss me off now as i have to restart the router sometimes, ( only started playin up since the past week) im thinkin about gettin rid of sky broadband and goin on BT broadband or maybe orange (my cousin is on it and she hasn't had a problem with it, my friend is on BT and had no probs with that) or i might go with someone else anyways back to the topic i think its a great game (best burnout i have had) and i was expectin more in a way aswell, i couldn't tell you what but it feels like there is somethin missin but other than that its a great game....

I've not been on it much, but it is rather an awesome game... I am a little annoyed that they sacked Crash Mode for Showtime, but Showtime is still pretty good. Also, haven't tried Road Rules yet, but it seems good... The millions of collectable stuff (billboards, signs, jumps, cars, drivethroughs and skill points) is the best bit, IMO, and the worst bit?: No offline multiplayer! (Either it doesn't exist, or I'm a tard who can't find it)
Truly awesome game though. -------------------

The Road Rules is awesome. Just go to the beginning of a road and floor it to set a time. Yesterday I spent ages just cruising the streets beating peoples times.

How does the Road Rules work then? I know you press up for quickest time on the stretch of road your on and up again for best Showtime crash but are the times just friends only or every player, ie quickest, online?

When you're offline it shows the best times/scores that Criterion added for you to beat. I presume the names are made up. The online records are those set by people on your Friend List like me and Aggro. It doesn't show the Worlds Best Times unfortunately.

It's wicked a game I been playing it since I got it so far I'm 10 percent in the game. It has;
Amazing graphics Amazing gameplay Wicked Cars Nice big open world (like GTA) Gives you a real next gen experience unlike some ps3 games which only improve the graphics a litte. This is defenetly a title that should be played. The downside? Well the HD resolution go's up a 720p maximum even though I dont have 1080p TV There is no 2 player so I can't experience playing burnout against my friend. The music isn't strong enough, infact the music is pure shite apart from a few rocky ones. And lastly I keep getting kicked out from online when I yeah that's how i found the game
