Yes, enemy's resistance can cause significant variations in the amount of damage you do, but only if the res varies a lot.

Attack height and direction also effect how much damage you do.

Not really sure how it is calculated (especially since damage is a bit randomized).....But basically, it's like the battle strategy of taking the high ground. High ground = Advantage.

It translates into more damage in this game. Consequentially, low ground = less damage.

Position refers to you, relative to your enemy's direction. Attacking from behind = more damage. Attacks from the side also equals more damage than attacking from the front, but not as much as from the back. This also applies to stealing (behind > Side > Front).

lol, i miss the thrill in battle, my characers are too overpowered now.

If a certain someone paid attention to my tactics, said person would be halfway done the story by now >_>

I'm on CH 7....I got tired of killing level 140+ zombies in CH6, stage 1....That's 7+ combined zombies in that given stage BTW.....

Wanna hear something funny? My thief is pretty much my strongest attacker (though not strongest overall I think, as his defense sucks)....I focused on him because I knew I'd need his levels at some point, to steal stuff. He now has a 99% success rate against enemies even from the front. As well he should though, being around level 90 >_> The ninja (second highest level guy) would be a lot stronger if I actually bothered to get him a good weapon, he's been using the same weapon since like....Chapter 3 or 4 >_> Though I think I actually recently replaced it with something a little bit better.

lol that must be really tough considering the very low aptitude for thieves..

very low damage and defense...

give them a gun they deal good damage, but leveling up with a gun is very difficult..

give them a sword or fist weapon they deal very low damage... but good for leveling since it deals AoE damage... problem is IF you can kill the mob w/ one blow, otherwise it would take forever to level up. xD

Voila, you get more EXP, more Mana, and more HL. Higher Level enemies give a lot more EXP/Mana/HL than separate enemies adding to the same level. IE. A bunch of level 20 zombies = ~3000+ HL. A bunch combined = 20K+ depending on how many are combined (probably could go up to in excess of 120K HL). My highest is about 80K for stage 6-1, but that's because I keep killing them instead of weakening them, my strongest are too strong, and my weakest are too weak.

Don't forget to buy foresights (Product Rank 8, requires Eyeglass Inventory bill to be passed) to get free pre-subdued staticians, armsmasters, Manager,s and Brokers (the first two being the priority). Well, not FREE, but the pre-subdued specialists don't cost extra compared to non-subdued.
