	FIFA 07 Forum Rules Introduction These rules are here to make the forum a better place for all of us. If you disregard them, then you will be punished. We are not fans of warnings, so for your first offence (depending on severity) expect a ban of up to a week. If you fail to learn from your mistakes, you will be re-banned for 20 days and if you continue, a supermoderator will be contacted and you will have your account permanently banned from all of Neoseeker. Complaints are useless; We are the moderators here, and it is our duty to select the appropriate punishments for each breakage of the rules. Being new is not an excuse; you are expected to read and abide by the rules just as everybody else is. If you're an experienced member, don't expect to be dealt with more leniently because of this. When you recieve your ban, you are expected to accept it, and hopefully realise that it isn't worth breaking the rules ever again. Post Quality - The most important rule of all! Put effort into all of your posts. If correct spelling and grammar are used, people are more likely to help you out! Try to add depth to your replies. Instead of just answering with one word replies, give reasons to back up your response. If someone asks for you to recommend a player, don't just name a few players - say why they are the right choice. If your post isn't of suitable quality then it will be deleted on sight. Persistent posting of poor posts that include text talk will result in a lengthy ban. Spamming - Don't do it! Advertising of any sort is illegal on Neoseeker, unless it's in your custom title or sig. Remember that. Do NOT post one-liners, unless there is absolutely nothing else to say on the matter. NEVER quote the whole post above your own, no matter what the circumstances. Flooding is a form of spamming and is therefore also banned. Don't reply to every single thread in the forum, and don't flood one thread in particular by replying to every other post. Flaming - Equivalent to asking for a 20 day ban! If another member gets on your nerves, take the issue to NeoPM or make a complaint. If you use this forum as your own personal bitching ground rather than discussing FIFA, you will be banned for a very long time. If we are all civil to each other, then everyone is happy. Especially the moderators. Memberating - You need to know where the line is. Memberating is where a member acts like a moderator, and it is not allowed. When a duplicate thread is made, you are perfectly able to post a link to the appropriate thread, but you must NEVER tell someone that they are going to be banned, or that a thread is going to be closed. If you see someone posting a spam thread, don't reply telling them they're going to be banned, just report the thread and wait until it's dealt with! Creating threads - You need to know what's wanted! When creating a thread, you need to be sure of two things: The topic isn't already being discussed. To ensure this, check the forum thoroughly to see if a thread on the same topic already exists. The topic is worthy of it's own thread. Any thread you make MUST be about FIFA, or it will be closed on sight. - Individual player, team or country threads are ALLOWED, full stop - but make sure you put some effort into the first post to let people know who the guy/team/country is. - Game threads are OUTLAWED. Occasionally I will approve/open a competition of some sort, but you yourselves aren't allowed to do this without contacting us first. - When a thread reaches the limit of 30 pages, the making of a new one will be sorted between myself and the thread originator. Don't make continuation threads yourself without asking permission. Discussion of illegal copies and no CD cracks - NOT ALLOWED! Do not ask for information about no CD cracks for the game. If you do so, you will be banned. Keep asking, and you will receive a permanent ban. ___________________________________ If you've skipped to the end, then I suggest you go back and read through this post, because it could save you a ban in the long run. ___________________________________ If you have any questions regarding the forum, simply NeoPM me and I will do my best to help you.
