- Have more national teams been added this year?

Yes, we have more national teams included in the game this year than previously. At this stage the list is not 100% final though so we can’t release it just yet.

- Is Nike on the jerseys this year?

Yes, definitely! All major manufacturer kits are represented authentically.

- Do teams have specific crowd chants, for example the Vieira chant at Arsenal.

Yes, that and numerous others.

- Is Tournament Mode in this year?

Yes it is.

- Will there be transfer updates for the PSP as well as the PS2?

Yes, the downloadable rosters will be available for PSP just as they are for PS2.

- Will it be possible to import .jpg logos and banners on Create a Club for PC?

This won’t be supported in FIFA 07 however that’s a good suggestion for us to consider.

- Will we be able to create stadiums?

No, that's not an included feature this time round.

- If you take a division 3 team all the way to the premiership can you renovate your stadium or buy a new one?

You can upgrade your Stadium Manager, the stadium size will then change accordingly.

- Will there be a limit to how many players can be edited or created?

You can create up to 16 players. On consoles you can edit up to 40 players – on PC your have unlimited ability to edit players.

- Will we be able to edit players who have generic faces?

You can edit their player info, player style, accessories and attributes. You cannot edit their face.

- Will we be able to create a new kit in manager mode so a team doesn’t play with the same kit for 20 seasons?

You will be able to create your own Club in FIFA 07 and take it into Manager Mode. This includes the creation of your team kit and crest.

- Has the AI issue where it kicks the ball into the stand despite not being under pressure been fixed?

Yes!

- Is there a greater number of cutscenes this time?

There are a lot of new cut scenes with new shame and glory effects and camera angles.

- How has Manager Mode been tweaked this year e.g. is it easier?

There are numerous changes to Manager Mode so this questions can't be fully answered quickly. The highlights this year are:

- New performance based player Player Growth
- New Visual Sim incl. the ability to change players, tactics and formations on the fly
- Real money, real pressure from press & board and real youth system

- Will we be able to see statistics from other leagues in Manager Mode?

No, this is not a feature of the game this year..

- Will the CPU make substitutions other than for injuries?

Yes. This is one area that we knew about both from community feedback and our own playing so it has definitely been addressed this year.

- Does the crowd look more realistic this year?

The crowd hasn’t been a major focus for us on current-gen this time round so they will look similar to last year, though we don’t really think that’s a bad thing!

- Will goal keepers commit and be carded for fouls?

Keeper AI has been drastically improved and they will now rush from their line when the situation is correct. We did not have time this year however to implement a system that would allow us to card the GK.

- Can you nominate a keeper as a penalty or free kick taker or bring him up for corners?

No, this is not something that is possible this time.

- Is the Copa Libertadores or Royal League in this year?

We haven’t been able to include these in FIFA 07.

- Will there be cut scenes for teams collecting trophies this time instead of generic celebrations?

It’s not been possible to add this for a variety of reasons.

- In Manager Mode is it possible to be manager for a club team as well as a national team?

You can’t manage two such teams at the same time in FIFA 07.

- Will you be able to access the entire team when playing online and not jut the first 16?

Only the first 16 will be available in FIFA 07.

- For grounds which have a roof will you be able to play matches with them closed?

Yes, this is possible for some of them.

- Is Manager Mode 15 years long again?

It is indeed.

- Is crossing the ball from the wing harder now?

Yes, when crossing you have to think about numerous realistic factors before attempting a cross. How good is the player with the ball? Which foot does the player prefer? Are you under pressure from a defender? Are you sprinting? Are you facing the correct direction? All of these and more will affect the accuracy of your cross. Over and above this the new in-air control means that your striker has to fight for position in the box to get on the end of your cross.

- What effect will the Italian scandal have on the starting position of the affected clubs?

The affected Italian teams will be placed in the appropriate leagues.

- Can you see managers beside the pitch now?

No, it has not been possible to include this in FIFA 07 on current gen consoles.

- Will Peter Crouch visibly be 6'7"?

Yes, we have adjusted height and body types for FIFA 07.

- Will it be possible to resolve clashing kits e.g. Chelsea away to Bolton?

Users have control over which kits their club is wearing before they go on the pitch (except in PC Online).

- Are league results more accurate e.g. Manchester United not finishing 16th?

Yes, the simulation engine has been completely redone for FIFA 07.

- How have corner kicks been improved?

The new set-piece system positions the camera behind the kick taker and allows you to apply power, direction, side-spin, top-spin and back-spin to the ball giving you more control than you have ever had.

- Will referees and linesmen be visible?

Only on the PC version of the game.

- Are there further counter-cheating measures this year e.g. to stop people pressing down on a slimline PS2 to stop the disc spinning?

FIFA 07 will include a solution to address this.

- Will EA keep some of the classic stadiums in the game e.g. Highbury?

Highbury is not included this year.

- Will headers be more realistic this year i.e. include jumping?

Yes. A new in-air jostling system has been created this year which means you have more control than ever during high balls. You will have to jostle with your opponent in order to get into the best position to jump and win a header, or perhaps you can shield the defender from the ball enabling you to chest the ball down.

- Will there be more legends this year?

No plans for additional legends in FIFA 07.

- Will the captain’s arm bands be different this year or all the same like before?

FIFA 07 will not include personalized captains armbands.

- Will you be able to save a Manager Mode squad for online play?

This is not something that will be possible.

That is just about what I was expecting, I love the new create a club mode! I hope the jostling in the box is a good addition, and not one which just ruins the game because it may do that!

Looks good, they've made big strides in some areas, but are still lacking in others (e.g. keepers). But hopefully next year it will be even better on next gen

But after reading that, I'm confident this will be the best FIFA yet.

yeah, I agree too this is gonna be the best EA ever made in the Fifa series. I don't know if it is better then than the newest Pro Evo ( I never played Pro Evo so ??)
