Hi guys, you all know me as your section mod, but I'm also a Portal Admin for Neoseeker's Portal network. I wont bore you with any boring details, but just break it to you straight - I'm looking to create a dothack NeoPortal, and was looking for some volunteers. It will obviously be unpaid .

In essence you just have to add content to the portal, add enough and I'll make you a Portal Staff which will get you a cool Portal Staff tag under your name. Though don't let that be the deciding factor. Only agree to help create the portal IF and I mean IF your really dedicated to dothack.

I'm looking to assemble a team from scratch, so there are more than one places open, and well, if your interested just leave your name below, and just tell me what games you've played.

Can each of you amongst your selves, pick a character (each character that you pick must be different to what another member is doing), and imagine that you were on the portal, and just come up with a detailed character description (like it's history and the stuff). BlackRose:

The main female protagonist of the original .hack Games (INFECTION - QUARANTINE), this spunky pink-haired heavy blade was one of the original dot hackers as well as an important character in the Twilight Incident.

This powerful player has dark tanned skin, coupled with light pink-white markings on her face, shoulders, and arms. Her scarlet-violet armor compliments her light pink hair, and her red-auburn eyes that spark with the passion of a big sister.

We first meet BlackRose after Orca is data-drained by the First Phase of Morganna: Skeith. She begins her relationship with the hero of the series, Kite, as being confrontational and sassy, often referring to Kite as a "newbie". However, later we find out she merely puts on a tough facade to hide her own fear. While keeping her motives secret for a while, BlackRose has to fight inner demons as the quest alongside Kite becomes deeper and more dangerous. She reveals that her brother, Kazu, was killed by a data bug in the game, rendering him comatose in the real world. After hearing Kite's similar situation with Orca, she allies herself with him in hopes of saving her brother.

BlackRose earned her stay as she helped to investigate the mysterious phenomena of The World. She arranged meetings with such players as Lios, Helba, and Wiseman. Alongside Kite and their other friends, like Mistral, BlackRose battled the Cursed Wave (or Eight Phases), forming what would posthumously be dubbed the "dot hackers".

In the final battle of the series, BlackRose went with Kite to finish off Corbenik, the 8th and Final Phase of Morganna, but was rendered comatose after being defeated. Luckily for her, Kite, along with Aura (the Ultimate AI) defeated Corbenik, awakening all those who had fallen into comas while playing The World, including BlackRose and her brother Kazu. The two were soon reunited thereafter and seemingly lived happily ever after.

Alright, here goes.

Haseo

Haseo, the main character of the G.U. series, as well as //Roots is a character that is very different to the others. Haseo is one of those characters that isnt afraid to say what he has in mind and when me first meet him in the story he isn't really into the whole friendship thing. Haseo was already familiar with The World since he had played an earlier version of the game as a PK named Sora. Haseo is an adept rouge which means that as he grows stronger, so do his abilities to change to different kinds of weapons, and even his appearance.

Haseo is introduced to us at the same time that he is introduced to the The World, we see him as he choses his online name as well as his class. The first thing he encounters in The World is two players who tell him that they'll be glad to show him around since he was new to the game and all, and haseo agrees to go with them. But unfortunately for haseo these two players are PKs, players who specialize in killing other players, in other words Player Killers. When they enter the lowest level of the dungeon where they took him to they confess to him that they're player killers and that they will PK him. Just as Haseo was about to get killed he is saved by another player named Ovan, Haseo soon afterwards joins Ovan's guild, The Twilight Brigade. Once in this guild Haseo meets a female player named Shino, to who eventually he begins to have feelings for. After some time Shino gets PKed by a PKer who seems unbeatable, and after Shino goes into a coma, Haseo goes in search of Tri-Edge, the player who PKed shino, in order to get revenge for her.

Haseo begins very intense training and levels up to eventually become the most feared player in the game, Haseo The Terror of Death, as he was known in the game. He was a PKK, player killer killer. Haseo is informed by Ovan that Tri Edge will return to the place where he PKed shino, so Haseo goes there to fight him. To Haseo's surprise he is badly beaten by Tri-Edge and gets data drained which makes him go from level 150 all the way back to level 1.
After going back to level 1 Haseo meets lots of new players, players who wanted to be friends with him and that didnt take the game as serious as he did, like Atoli for example who really likes to hang out with Haseo. Haseo also meets Yata, Pi, and Kuhn, system administrators who tell him that he is an epitaph user, that he has a hidden power within his character, a power known as an avatar which he can summon to battles. But as he finds out about that he aslo finds out about A.I.D.A. Yata tells him that they will need his help to solve the problem of A.I.D.A. which is causing problems within the world. In his quest to eliminate A.I.D.A. haseo joins a tournament in the world in which he rids Endrance, former emperor of A.I.D.A.
As time passes Haseo becomes stronger and begins to realize that his friends are what have gotten him as far as he has gotten. Haseo soon finally defeats Tri-Edge, who was in fact Ovan, when Haseo defeats Ovan, he sees as Ovan launches the Rebirth Program which rids The World of A.I.D.A. At the end of Haseo's story Shino returns to the World to thank Haseo for saving her, however it's not like before, Haseo no longer feels what he felt for shino in the past, now he feels the same for Atoli.

Silibus:

Silibus is the green and light green Blade Brandier with brown hair and is full of heart. He is first introduced in the anime .hack//Roots, even though he dosen't have much of a big role in it. We see him with Gaspard and Kuhn when Tabby is wanting to talk with Kuhn, and is never really mentioned again until the first //G.U. game, Rebirth. Silibus is one of the two players who Haseo directly contacts with after his character was reformatted and both Silibus and Gaspard offered their help to the noob-like Haseo for they were members of the guild Canard, a guild dedicated to helping newbie players get started in the world. Silibus takes Haseo and Gaspard to an area where they try to teach the game to Haseo, dispite his rudeness by yelling at them saying that he already knows how to play. Silibus soon teaches something Haseo never learned, and after that realizes that Haseo really isn't a noob to the game and is actually the Terror of Death. Later on Silibus is used to help Haseo advance in the Demon Palace tournament since at that time Haseo didn't have many other options for teammates. Silibus was reliable during the Demon Palace tournament except for when Gaspard was having some troubles, and being the kind hearted best friend of Gaspard, he went to his side and deeply apologized to Haseo.

Silibus isn't featured very much until the third game, Redemption, where he has to be alongside gaspard and wonder what has been happening to the world. First the main issue was the PKing in the towns. It wouldn't have affected him and gaspard that much if it wasn't in Breg Epona, since that was where their guild was sent to, but sadly, PKing was in Breg Epona. The second issue was when the third network crisis was drawing near and everyone was to be sent to Tartarga Netslum when Cubia was taking over the town servers. He and Gaspard had no clue what was happening, but he and Gaspard stood strong as they helped to defeat the Cubia gamoras in the lost grounds, fighting to protect the world they loved, both to play and to exist in.

Silibus is the green and light green Blade Brandier who was welcomed into the world by Kuhn and joined his guild Canard, and was put in charge when Kuhn when to Raven, and then switched leadership over to Haseo. He loves playing "the World" and seeing it in shambles only made his heart stronger to fight back to protect it.



I hope that's good. I thought Silibus wouldn't be that hard since he is a pretty basic character who appeared when he needed to, but dang there isn't much of him in the second in third

Yata:

His character is a tanned Macabre Dancer with a muscular build dressed in Red/orange robes. His main weapons are two Fans which when extended become two half blades. Most of his body is covered is light Wave Tattoos, including his forehead. He tends to keep many things a secret and it is not known exactly how much information he has on a particular subject, usually causing great anger with other players

Yata is the same character behind the legendary dothacker Wiseman (.hack//Mutation), Naobi the Guild leader of TaN (.hack//ROOTS) and Nala the captain of Moon Tree's unit four (.hack//G.U.: Reminisce).

Due to his past as a hacker and information gatherer as Wiseman, CC decided to hire him as a System Administrator. His first move as an Admin was to capture Ovan (the games main antagonist) as Naobi to run experiments on his arm, which was said to hold the same amount of data as a whole in game area. After a system malfunction that allowed Ovan to escape he learns about the anomaly codenamed AIDA. He then forms the group G.U., although the groups purpose is to investigate the AIDA phenomena Yata rarely leaves the G.U. base, The Serpent of Lore. He uses his uber Admin powers to monitor various parts of the game for any sings of abnormality, he keeps a particular eye on the seven epitaph users for reasons learned later in the game.

He seems to have next to no mercy for innocent PC's usually making moves that would harm other players, but at the same time getting a job done. Haseo (the game's main protagonist) first meets him after being data drained by "Tri-Edge" in the Hulle Granz Cathedral, this is when Yata realizes that Haseo is the holder of the Epitaph, Skeith. Throughout the G.U. games, Yata sends Haseo and the other members of G.U. to various locations to investigate strange activities which often result in the finding of AIDA or other anomalies. Later in the game you learn that Yata controls the epitaph Fidchell which is unleashed when Yata enters a fit of rage and jealousy cause by Ovan.

Ovan

Ovan is rather a mysterious character that no one really knows about. During the .hack//Roots series, he appears to have a close relationship with Shino. Shino indicates that she knows him in real life, outside The World, as well. He usually never shares any personal things to anyone except her, an example being in episode 7 of Roots he tell Shino that he needs to go back to work and that he usually goes on The World quite far into his working hours, which worries Shino.

Phyllo, an elderly male acquaintance of Shino's who plays a racoon-like character in The World, says that he should've never introduced Shino to Ovan.

The thing every character knows about Ovan is that he is the guild master of the Twilight Brigade, which is dedicated to finding a legendary item, the Key of Twilight. The members of the guild are Ovan, Shino, Haseo, Tabby, and Sakisaka. Former members who quit were Gord and B-Set.

As the series progress, Virus Cores (first introduced in the .hack//Games series) appear in different sets of colors and are the stepping stones to finding the Key of Twilight. Ovan depended on Haseo in finding the last Virus Core they needed, as he said Haseo has a special trait that would make it possible. Ovan is probably referring to Haseo being an Epitaph User.

Another famous characteristic of Ovan's is that his arm is encased in a lock. It certainly is not a legal character model and people say that Ovan hacked his PC to get it the way it is. The arm is the clue that leads to the true chaos occurring in the world. The three scar signs, known as Sign, is not truly made by Azure Kite but Ovan himself. However, in the first game, Azure Kite can travel using the signs.

Near the end of the second game, Ovan finally reveals his arm to Haseo. Inside the lock is a black hatchet-like weapon in his hand, long black blade coming out of his shoulders. Using these two weapons as well as his own Bayonet, Ovan slashes in a form that creates the Sign. At the time, he attacked Pi, Atoli, and Haseo. Earlier on in the second series, Ovan is confronted by Azure Kite, Azure Balmung, and Azure Orca, who had been hunting him as an anomaly in the system. The three attacked Ovan and, supposedly, Ovan had defeated them using the arm. Interesting enough, Corbenik's Avatar is modeled more in a humanoid figure than its original form in the Project .hack franchise. It was actually the AIDA in his arm, the real Tri-Edge, who murdered Shino and caused her to be a Lost One.

In the last volume of .hack//G.U. is revealed that Ovan's motivation is to save his little sister Aina who was the first victim of his arm, which was infected by AIDA. Ovan sought to purge the system of AIDA with his Avatar's Rebirth ability, which can only be triggered if the Avatar Skeith the Terror of Death struck Corbenik down after absorbing the power of the other seven Phases. All of his masterminding and careful manipulation of others has been solely to make Skeith's Epitath User, Haseo, strong enough to accomplish that task.(OVAN RULZ!!!!)
