He is hard due to his area effect attack.

Level your characters back thru alternate classes and focus on vitaility so your people can survive at least one hit of his aoe attack.

Divide your party into about half healing and half damage, make sure everyone healing has parallel aid.

He is actually very easy to kill if you can survive the aoe attacks and heal up before the next one. His defense and hit points arent a lot higher than other cyclops'.

The first time I killed him, I was able to get him to half very fast, before he used his aoe, and while most of my party died, I was able to heal my main character up between aoes and finish him.
