About to start 2087/88 season with Partizan with the balance of 808 M Euros.

The last two seasons were special. Two years, two heroes. In 85/86 it was Čedomir Mitić who brought us the UCL win vs. Liverpool (1:0) and the strange domestic cup win? Why strange? Because it was our reserve team who won it! Called Teleoptik and managed by our ass. manager and club legend Muhamed Savić, Teleoptik eliminated three Superleague sides (while his bigger brother lost in quarterfinal). Teleoptik had to play Srem in the final. I could not manage them, but I could put all my senior team players into reserve team and Muhamed did it. Teleoptik won 2:1, thanks to Mitić 117th minute goal!

The following season we really won the treble. It was time for our new Croatian signing from Pula, Hrvoje Ratković. He scored two hattricks in two finals. First, against Borac in domestic cup final, and the other in the UCL final at Dragao vs. the home side Porto. The cherry on the cake: we won both matches 5:0, and Porto, who celebrated 100 years since its first UCL win, was humiliated. Billy Ward, Porto manager, suffered its second debacle in less than a year. In 2086 World cup he was in charge of England national team (world champions 2078, vice-champions 2082) who exited the competition in second round against... Libya on penalties. Libya then eliminated Mexico and finished 4th while another surprise package also relied on spot kicks. Japan beat Germany in the 2086 San Siro final.

Well, it is hard nowadays, especially as other teams in the league have vastly improved, so 1st place is not granted and unbeaten seasons are the thing of the past. I do not count trophies anymore, and I am focusing more on the squad little things, that is, I try to sign as many domestic players as possible and not relying on South America and Africa anymore (in Serbia in 2007 there were no fgn player rules). As the time goes by, players get born, play and retire and it is nice to see all their development and all the generations changing. Life is too short to observe this in RL, but we have FM for it.

Bad things: almost 99% of the teams play 4-4-2; almost too good central defenders; static league reputation.

It will be interesting, as almost anyone can beat everyone and it will be hard to let Bayern step down.

I will be honest, tempted to reload this game up, can't remember who the legends are from this save but will be fun finding them again.

Of course. Well, I paused it since I am trying FM 2013. Finished 2091/92 season in which I won the league and the UCL for the 30th time, beating Arsenal 2:1. My last game was already in the 92/93 season, after we won 1-0 away at Srem at 40 degrees Celsius.

Wow mate that is a lot of effort put in to that save, I have a save in FM12 with Porto where I am in 2028, not as long as you've played but the longest save I've ever played!
