Welcome to the Neoseeker Grand Theft Auto III FAQ and Rules thread. In this thread, you well find a large and comprehensive list of Frequently Ask Questions (FAQ) formed by members of Neoseeker and other participants. All future posters are asked to view this thread and also asked to not post any questions this FAQ answers.

You well also find the rules of this thread. It is made for the sole purpose to make this thread more enjoyable to all posters and viewers in the forum.

• Hacks, Cracks, or any other illegal software is NOT tolerated by Neoseeker. All offenders well be warned or banned depending on how serious it is.

• Please, refrain from spamming. Do not contribute to spam threads.

• Refrain from abuse of "Bad" words. Since this game is rated M and there doesn't seem to be many minors visiting this forum, I well allow a small amount of "bad" words in posts.

• No Pornography. Never. Don't even think about it. Porn gets you an auto ban.

• Do Not go Off topic

• Do not make a post that already exists. If you are unsure.. use the Search forum engine.

• If you have multiple questions at the same time, put them all in one thread instead of making separate ones. It makes our job easier.

Ask all small, mission and car related questions in this {Thread}

2. How do I edit car colors?
This {Thread} should answer all your questions. There is also an editor for starters here in this {Thread}

3. Whats an MP3 and how do I them on my radio?

An MP3 is a digital music file. You save or copy an MP3 into the folder
Program files/GTAIII/mp3
Then when you are in a car you should just change to the custom MP3 station and it should play.

4. Whats a skin and how do I use them?
A skin is what the character visualy looks like. This {Thread} should help you out.

5. Why can't I post in this thread?
The reason you can't post in some threads is because it is Closed. You can identify a closed thread by the top left hand corner of every thread.

6. How do I put a picture in the forum?
This {Thread} should teach you all you need to know.

7. Whats a NeoPM and how do I use it?

A NeoPM is a feature that all Neoseeker members use. It is a feature similar to email, but you can only PM Neoseeker members. To NeoPM a member, click the icon under the users picture or name. To see if you have a PM, look on the top of the Neoseeker window. If you see a icon, you have a PM.

8. How many islands are there in GTA3?
There are three islands in the Grand Theft Auto III world.

9. How do I fly a Dodo?

This {Thread} thread should answer all your Dodo questions (Directions inside)

10. Is there any other flyable cars?

Use the Flying cars code to make all cars "fly". Although it doesn't work great...

11. Where is last vehicle is on the Import Export garage?
This would fit in at This {Thread}.

12. How do I get a picture under my name?
This {Thread} should help you on your avatar problems.

13. How do I get those words above my picture?
This is a custom title. To get a custom title, you must have to have at least 50 posts, think of it as an award .

14. Whats the "Neo Newbie" thing all about?
Those are the user ranks. Your user rank depends on the number of posts you have made.

15. Where is Darkel?
Darkel was a character that dealt missions but was taken out because unknown reasons. He was replaced by Rampages.

16. Can I post my opinions on moderators?
All members are entitled to they're opinion. Think of us just as members, but with more control of the forum.

17. Who are the current moderators?
There are no moderators of this forum, there is no need for one

18. Where can I find the Helicopter?
The Helicopter was never intended to be flown in the game, but editors are trying to fix that .

19. How do I get a hooker in my car?
To get a hooker, get a nice car, not owned by Liberty City (Taxis, Police, ect,) and pull up next to a hooker, if she start to walk toward your car, you've done good. After she gets in, park into a non-trafic area and wait a while. If the car starts "rocking", wait for it to stop and she well exit. Kill her to get your cash back.

20. Where can I get some good hacks and trainers?
As I said before, Illegal software such as those are NOT tolerated by Neoseeker.

21. My copy of GTA3 is broke! Where can I Download it?
We here at Neoseeker are not associated with Rockstar Games, Take Two, or Rockstar North. We cannot help you with this problem.

22. How do I get into the Observitory or Stadium?
To see the observatory or stadium, fly the Dodo over them to get a better view of it.

23. Why was my post deleted?
Your post was deleted because it broke one of the rules or your question was answered. Please do not repost because of that reason.

24. What are the controls?
You can change it to whatever you wish.

25. How do I get the Borgnine taxi?
To get the Borgnine taxi cab, you must do 100 taxi missions. They do not have to be consecutive.

26. How do I get unlimited Run?
To get unlimited run, you have to get to get to level 12 in the ambulance. Along the way you well get adrenalin pills delivered to your hideout.

27. How do I swim?
You cannot swim in Grand Theft Auto 3. Don't ask why.

28. How do I get weapons delivered to my hideouts
To get weapons delivered to your hideout, you must collect hidden packages. Every ten you get, you get a hidden package.

29. Where are the hidden packages?

30. Where is the GTA3 patch?
The patch can be found in this {Thread}

31. How do I get a Motorcycle?
There is no motorcycle in the game, but editors working on one.

32. How do I get the 747?
There is no flyable 747 on GTA3

33. How do I get the BF Injection and where can I get it?
To get a BF injection, complete all of the Mafia missions and it well appear at the Diablo's territory, where you get the phone missions.

34. Can I be a moderator of this forum?
When we feel the need for a new moderator, we well contact the most suitable member.

35. How do I make shops?

36. What do I have to complete to get 100%?

Thread re-opened for suggestions. We need help on the "Cheats" section of the FAQ, I got this list off the codes but some had no effect, so if you have the list WITH all of the effects, you well be appriciated.

Thank you all again, I don't want this to turn into a true "thread" so all posts well be deleted after I add the stuff, and yes, you well get credit for what you say, for here on out. Board is still open for suggestions.

Final FAQ made, you well probley see this on the Neoseeker FAQ and guide section, if you feel anything should be added, speak now or forever hold your peice.

Allright, I got it cleaned up and workin back again. Everything seems to work perfectly with the exception of SuperFast OZ's hidden package locations.

The end of some cut and paste crap from a moderator text file that I constructed. Dunno if these links will help or not:
