Credit to the lovely Kybur
Our city is a city like any other.
People go about their daily lives. Go to work, come home, kiss their children goodnight.
Or it used to be.
Amgorrah city is not a safe place anymore.
Our beloved heroes are dead.
The night is not safe.
The Nightmare Brigade is a group composed of three Supervillains. Their identities are unknown.
The Fear strikes randomly, murdering our people.
The Unseen lurks in every shadow.
The Queen rules over us all.
Please... save us from this unending hell.
Places of Note:
The Wall: The structure towers at least 30 feet and is filled with armed guards. The public jokingly calls it the Berlin Wall II.
The Tower: The main prison. Unspeakable things happen to people who speak out against the Supervillains. Anyone showing even a hint of a Superpower are carted there, no questions asked. The screams can be heard for miles.
The Castle: Not really a castle, but a building that had been recently constructed to look like one. The Queen delivers her broadcasts from there. The broadcasts are generally propaganda, or sometimes advertising a reward for a certain person's capture. Tvs, phones, and loudspeakers will all play these.
The Sewers Both a literal place and an underground organization that is attempting to overthrow the Brigade. They are being watched.
Where you come in:
You are a Superhero or Supervillain either helping or hindering the Brigade. Perhaps you are a hero fighting to save the city, or a villain bent on taking over for yourself.
Name: First and last.
Alias: Your Superhero name! Make it good!
Personality: How does he/she interact with others.
Appearance: What does he/she look like?
Costume: And his/her super fancy mega awesome costume?

Name: Alisora Sylvan (suspected identity)
Alias: The Fear
Age: The Fear does not dignify measure her life in human time standards.
Gender: Biologically female. Will chose to appear as whichever, depending.
Personality: Calculating and observant, and rather cold and self-serving. However, she's very good at appearing genuine to people she wants to fool. She picks her targets on a whim. She distrusts others, believing anyone with power is out to get her, and anyone without is out to use her.
Background: Rumor has it that she is a force that's existed since time began. In a way, they are correct, but it became personified at an unknown time within the last few centuries. Some claim nuclear testing created her. Some claim it was an experiment gone wrong to make a soldier immune to fear. Some say she has simply always been and always will be. She will simply agree with any story as to her creation, before murdering the person who tells it.
Appearance: Her appearence changes depending on her victim, but when not hunting, she seems to prefer appearing as a lost, disheveled child.
Costume: No associated costume, though some reports place her as commonly wearing dark blue.
Superpowers: She's an excellent mimic, and she uses this to her advantage, playing on her enemy's worst nightmares to fill them with an incapacitating fear, before moving in for the kill.
Weapons: Two modified rings with retractable spikes, coated in a fast-acting poison, which she uses to kill her foes once they're incapacitated by fear.

Name: Annette Cornish
Alias: Queen Arachne
Personality: Annette is very much a follower. She goes with the trends in an attempt to blend in and not be noticed.
Appearance: She is of an average height and average weight. Pale skinned. Annette keeps her dark brown hair tied back into two braids. She is very nearsighted and wears glasses.
Background: Annette was a childhood prodigy who, like most of them, disappeared as an adult. She was in foster care as a child, after her parents were deemed unfit.
Costume: She shuns the typical skin-tight bodysuit and opts for a Victorian-style black ball gown with a tiara constructed from webbing pinned into her hair.
Superpowers: She can speak to spiders as well as bending them to her will.
Weapons: Throwing knives doused in spider toxins.
Other: She is a member of the infamous Nightmare Brigade.
Name: DO YOU SEE A NAME TAG ON MY CHEST. (Samuel Becker)
Alias: ISN’T THIS GARDEN JUST SO PRETTY. (Sunflower)
Alignment: THE WINDOWSILL STANDS FOR JUSTICE. (Superhero)
Age: THERE IS NO LINE OF EFFICIENCY. (34)
Gender: I’LL SHOW YOU WHAT A REAL MAN LOOKS LIKE. (Male)
Personality: WHAT DO YOU MEAN BY “SUBTLE”. (Exuberantly bombastic, hotheaded, and loud.)
Appearance: A FLOWER FOR THE PRETTY LADY. (Samuel is Caucasian, stands five foot nine, and weighs around a hundred and seventy pounds. He has stark blue eyes and the areas around them are rather dark. His head is home to a mohawk styled and dyed in the form of a sunflower, hence his nickname.)
Costume: THEY NEVER MENTIONED A DRESS CODE. (Samuel wears a pair of jeans affixed with some makeshift leather padding and a pair of combat boots, plus a belt with various floral decorations. He also wears a large fur coat made from various animal pelts. Whether the fur is fake or real is anyone’s guess. Only Samuel knows.)
Superpowers: HELLO SUNSHINE MY OLD FRIEND. (Samuel is capable of emitting an intense light from within his body, mainly his eyes and mouth. This light possesses several beneficial properties, bestowing rapid regeneration and increased strength and stamina on whomever Samuel shines this light on. The catch is, Samuel can’t use this light on himself without the use of a mirror.)
Weapons: MOMMA USED THIS TO MAKE PANCAKES AND WHOOP ASS. (Samuel wields a frying pan with a sunflower emblazoned on the inside. He also keeps a small hand mirror fashioned with spikes and barbed wire with him in case of injuries.)
Other: HOW DO YOU SPELL MISCLNEAUS. (Sunflower suffered minor brain damage after an encounter with one of the Nightmare Brigade several years ago. He hasn’t been able to heal himself of this, but he doesn’t mind it. Really, all it did was make him lose control of his own volume level.)
Sunflower leads a small clique of rebels from the sewers known as the Gardeners. They're nowhere near the size of an army, but Sunflower keeps them alive and carries out a multitude of rebellious actions alongside them.
Name: Kennedy Hamilton
Alias: The Flying Dream
Personality: Quiet, very empathetic, thoughtful, intelligent, can throw a temper when enraged
Appearance: Long chocolate brown hair, usually tied back in a tight ponytail. Average height and weight. When not in costume, usually found in a t-shirt, jeans, sneakers, and glasses. Her eyes are dark green and she is usually staring off into space.
Costume: Blue and silver body suit with a utility belt, white boots perfect for jumping

Other: Kennedy is not very strong, but she is very quick
Name: Iron Tail
Alias: The Shining Hope
Personality: Rather energetic, he tends to leap before he looks and finds his way out of jams.
Appearance: Black hair, with two long lockes coming out and curving over the top of his head. Wears a long yellow scarf and matching yellow and black gloves and shoes. He has light golden eyes, fox ears and a large black furred white tipped fox tail. Usually wears black shorts and no shirt. Small amounts of fur are usually seen on the back of his hands and up his arms. Has long whiskers(not a beard) and fangs.
Costume: None. Usually isn't seen when he's committing one of his actions.
Superpowers: Large amounts of strength, very agile and fast.
Weapons: - a magical scarf that he can use to grab objects or use to swing over long distance gaps. Can be used to distract his opponents.
- The 'Bracelet', an ancient relic wrapped around the base of his tail
-His tait itself, as it is actually more muscle than fur, giving the impact feeling of solid steel.
Other: The 'Bracelet' is the object that gives him powers.

Queen Arachne strode down the halls. They were decorated to her liking. The building was, technically, hers. She wasn’t sure why, but she really loved the feel of Dracula’s castle in the old films and had attempted to emulate it. Candelabra’s and bare stone covered in plush carpet. Cobwebs coated the corners of every room, a slight drawback, but it added to the lived-in feel.
Not to mention that anyone who attempted to clean them was publicly executed.
“Oh! Your Highness…”
The Queen of Spiders stopped in her tracks, not bothering to respond.
“T-They want you in the Roosevelt Room.”
She wondered why. They’d already done most of the general broadcasts. Perhaps something interesting was going on. Then again, something usually was.
The Roosevelt Room was actually a joke. It was the room where all of her broadcasts were filmed. It was done as a parody of the President’s fireside chats. She had to wonder if any of the common rabble understood. Due to the recent drop in education, that was rather unlikely.
A large fireplace was in the room, continuously lit. The chair next to it was high-backed and ornately carved. She wasn’t sure if it was an antique or a simple reproduction. In all honesty, it looked cool, so she could care less. She sat in the chair, a scowl on her face as people rushed about. There was a woman who was supposed to be fixing her makeup, but kept cringing at her side.
The Queen fixed her with a stare, “Is something wrong?”
“There’s a… spider…”
She barely noticed them anymore. It seemed that the longer spiders stayed with her, the smarter they became. A rather large one was burying itself in her hair while a daddy long legged climbed up her neck.
“Afraid of spiders?” The Queen asked, beckoning to possibly the largest spider the makeup artist had ever seen. It clicked through the half open door, hissing in some unintelligible language before crawling up her skirts, the pincers in its mouth snipping excitedly. The Queen laughed, stroking it's head. Spiders told such interesting stories.
The makeup artist had gone completely pale; the bun on the top of her head was lopsided. She looked like she was ready to jump out of a window.
“Do your job,” the Queen said, as the spider settled into her lap. “Unless you want to be fired.”
She meant it quite literally. A firing squad wouldn’t be hard to assemble. Or maybe she’d let the spiders rip the woman apart. The woman worked quickly, with trembling hands. For all intents and purposes, she was there to look pretty and scare the shit out of people. Someone had to be the icon for the city. The other two simply weren’t cut out for it. She would be lying if she said she didn’t love the attention.
She ended up looking like she usually did for the broadcasts. They curled the ends of her hair, layered on dark red lipstick, eyeliner, rouge…
“We’re on in three… two… one.”
The Queen’s image simultaneously appeared on every TV set, every smartphone, ever y computer. She smiled serenely as a small spider skittered across her nose.
“Good evening citizens of Amgorrah city. Tonight, I have grave news for you all. There is a horrible monster walking among you. He is armed and very dangerous.”
She rattled off the usual. Report the suspected Superhero to the authorities for a… generous reward. Hell, most people would throw their mother to the dogs for the money.
“We thank you for your continued vigilance and wish you all a good night.”
The camera crew already began packing up. That was a good sign. They probably wouldn’t have to do another one tonight.
Her eyes moved to the man who had been lingering in the back of the room. He stretched the neck of his shirt, looking nervous. He approached slowly, executing an old-fashioned bow. “The… others wanted to let you know that they’re coming to talk to you…”
She pursed her lips, probably more bad news. She waved the man off and headed down into sitting room to have her tea. The small table was already set for three.

When you look at the stars, it feels like all your dreams can come true, it fills you with unimaginable hope and infinite possibilities. It's been a long day, but I must keep pushing on. I will get through this. Losing a job is not the end of the world, and besides, I have much more important work to be focusing on. There is too much terror in this town, and it needs to come to an end.
Kennedy sighed and sat up from where she was laying. She was in one of the few grassy parks that remained in the city and even though it was just some grass and benches, it was beautiful to her.
I wish you could see more stars, but with all of the city lights only a couple of them ever show. If only things were different...if only a lot of things were different.
Kennedy stood up fully and headed for home. The city is never safe at night, but with Kennedy's speed she could usually go from this area to her house without running into trouble. She made it to her door safely that night, headed inside, and locked it behind her. Kennedy liked to wander at night occasionally as long as her guard was up, but she never took risks while she was sleeping. Three locks on the door, all the windows shut. Kennedy did not take any chances. As she was falling asleep, she listened to the screams of pain echoing from the city's infamous Tower. She whimpered for the prisoners as she drifted off to sleep...
Kennedy slept in the next day, having just lost her job she had nothing to do. After making herself breakfast, she headed out for the day just expecting to wander around the city. It was not a particularly beautiful or interesting place to wander, but it was better than being cooped up in her small apartment all day.
I wonder what I should spend my time doing now. I want to help people, and with my powers, well I think I can...but I am just one person. How will one person change the world? I need to find other who share my goal. But how will I know if I can trust them? I guess it is a risk I will have to take to reach my dreams.
Kennedy felt her body crash into someone else's as she fell towards the ground.
"Sorry, sorry! I wasn't watching where I was going."
The young man she ran into helped her to her feet, "It's alright. Just be more careful next time."
He headed off as Kennedy brushed herself off and brought herself back to reality. That's when she noticed the store she had just walked passed. Ten TVs were in the window, all broadcasting the same message...
"Good evening citizens..."
Another broadcast from the Queen. This can't be good...and that man on the screen just looks like a normal person, not a monster at all. I have to do something about this! But what?

She practically skipped down the street. People smiled when they saw her.
Not that they recognized her, of course.
The passing businessman was having an affair with his secretary. She memorized his face. He was afraid of his wife finding out.
"Kid, shouldn't you be in school?" A woman asked her.
She smiled. She had taken the form of a blonde child, maybe around seven years old...
But she had someone to talk to. It would be a wondrous day.

She slipped quietly to where Arachne waited. Perhaps the unseen was there, perhaps he wasn't.
The many cretins that the Queen possibly considered pets surrounded her.
She ignored them. They had foolish little minds, though she could direct them.
But she waited form Him to arrive.
Arachne would recognize her. She always did.
Mostly because no other child would walk so brazenly into her rooms.

I'VE GOT AN IMPORTANT ANNOUNCEMENT TO MAKE SO EVERYONE SHUT UP
"WE READY?" Samuel asked loudly.
The man in the straw hat, one of his Gardeners, poked his head up and nodded. "All good." He said.
Topside, all over the city, men and women were donning their straw hats and setting up their broadcast recievers. Claptrap devices, but they worked well enough. The good, honest, opressed people of Amgorrah were about to recieve a "counter attack" to the dear Queen's speech of the day.
Samuel cleared his throat and began holding down the button on his microphone.
"HELLO BOYS AND GIRLS OF AMGORRAH." He yelled.
"IT'S TO MY UNDERSTANDING THAT YOU JUST FINISHED LISTENING TO OUR DEAREST WHORE OF A QUEEN RAMBLE ON AND ON ONCE AGAIN. WELL TODAY, YOUR NEIGHBORS FROM THE WINDOWSILL HAVE DECIDED TO STEP OUT OF THEIR POTS AND DELIVER THEIR OWN MESSAGE. THAT'S RIGHT, IT'S YOUR GOOD FRIEND SUNFLOWER EVERYBODY."
Samuel took a minute to laugh a little before he continued.
"FIRST THINGS FIRST... TITS. SECOND, I KNOW IT'S BEEN A WHILE. I KNOW YOU'RE ALL REAL PISSED OFF AT THE CURRENT REGIME. SURE, THE QUEEN SAYS IT COULD BE A LOT WORSE, BUT LET'S ALL AGREE THAT'S BULLSHIT. THIS IS NO WAY TO LIVE. ME AND MY FRIENDLY GARDENERS ARE FINALLY MAKING A STAND. WE HAVE A PLAN, AND THAT'S TO RAISE AS MUCH HELL AS POSSIBLE FOR THE QUEEN AND HER BED BUDDIES UNTIL WE PUT THEM OUT OF OFFICE. WE WILL BLOW PEOPLE UP, WE WILL BLOW PLACES UP, AND MANY RANDOM THINGS WILL BE BLOWN UP IN THE PROCESSES OF THE FIRST TWO. WE WILL CONDUCT RAIDS, SABOTAGE, AND OTHER FAMILY FRIENDLY ACTIVITIES. AND ONCE EVERYTHING IS NOTHING BUT RUBBLE, WE WILL SYSTEMATICALLY PULL DOWN OUR TROUSERS, AND CONDUCT THE MOST BEAUTIFUL SYMPHONY WITH OUR COLLECTIVE ASSES. IF ANY OF YOU WOULD LIKE TO JOIN US IN THE FUN, DON'T WORRY. WE'L COME TO YOU FIRST."
Sunflower stood up and took a firm hold over his crotch.
"NOW, ON A FINAL NOTE, I HAVE A MESSAGE FOR THE QUEEN HERSELF. ARACHE, IF YOU'RE LISTENING, THEN I'M HAPPY TO OFFER YOU THE WONDERFUL OPPORTUNITY OF COMING ON OVER TO THE WINDOWSILL, GETTING DOWN ON YOUR KNEES, AND HELPING YOURSELF TO A PLATE OF MY BIG, SUNNY..."
The door flew open. A guard raised his rifle and said, "Both of you! Hands up! On the ground, now!"
Samuel quickly grabbed the grip of the machine pistol stuffed in his pocket and unloaded half the clip into the guard. In a haze of red, the man dropped his weapon and fell backwards, out for the count.
Samuel, still holding his gun and the button on the microphone, quickly made one last announcement.
"WELL, EVERYONE, IT SEEMS THE QUEEN DISAGREES WITH MY STELLAR CHOICE OF WORDS. SO, I'M GONNA HAVE TO GET GOING. 'KAY, THANKS, BYE."
Samuel dropped the microphone and turned to his fellow Gardener. "THAT WAS PRETTY FUN." He said, "GRAB HIS SHIT AND LET'S BOOGIE."
The Gardener got up and grabbed the guard's rifle and all the ammunition he was carrying. When he was done, the two stepped out of the broadcasting station and began their fight through to the outside.
Fun times for the Gardeners ahead.

The Unseen literally stepped out of the dark corner he was currently occupying despite being blind he knew that the arachnids that Queen Arachne kept had a strong aversion to bright lights which is why every room in the castle was dimmed down enough to throw shadows in all manner of places.
He had been observing from the shadows what the Queen was doing it wasn't that he didn't trust her to make the masses afraid of them because Fear could do that in a heartbeat, it was simply because he liked listening to the noise people made amused him whether it was lovers declaring their love for one another or the screams of the people who resisted their reign.
"Now that we have all gathered what do you propose we do about this Sunflower and his gardeners, left unchecked they can potentially be a huge problem for us if we don't nip this in the bud." Unseen spoke with an eerie calmness as he gave off wisps of black giving the impression that there was wind blowing in the room.

"I see no problem with them. Oh, did you hear him, all the destruction..."
"This is our city now, you know." The Queen pointed out.
"Terrorists!" The Fear giggled in a childlike manner. She rather liked the word. Terrorists, the ones who aimed to cause terror.
They would save her a great deal of work.
"Well, let me elaborate." The Fear flicked a spider off her teacup, which landed with a plop right into Arachne's tea. "Their actions will only solidify our hold. The populace will come to despise their shenanigans. And when we inevitably crush them like bugs--meaning no offense." She spoke to one of Arachne's numerous pests. Er, pets. "--We'll be lauded for stopping such dangerous people...and most importantly...it's good PR."
The Fear was still smiling. The Unseen shook his head.
"We'll need to find him first."
"It shouldn't be too hard. He made a mistake!"
She laughed. This time it was a more...sinister sound.

"Now then!" The Fear's form shifted to that of a rather large dog as one of the Queen's servants came in. He apologized profusely, running away.
The Fear merely looked amused at this. She picked up her teacup again, changing her form just enough to drink from it.
"In any case, it would be better to keep the destruction to a minimum." Arachne pointed out.
The Fear sighed. That was boring.
Most of the populace didn't know the other members of the brigade existed. Granted, most knew something worked with the queen to keep the peons in line...beyond that, there were few details.
It suited her well enough. Perhaps she would see if there was anything interesting in the Tower.

IT SMELLS LIKE PISS AND SHIT DOWN HERE BUT I DON'T MIND ONE BIT
The sewers. Man’s last bastion of hope in a world gone mad. Whenever communists come bombarding the nation, you hide in the sewers. Whenever grotesque aliens start beaming people up, you hide in the sewers. Whenever a skank with a bug fetish and her cohorts establish a firm, merciless hold on a city, you hide in the sewers. And then you rise up and spray them with shit.
Samuel’s eyes were lit up. They acted as flashlights, beaming ahead and revealing the path through the maze of piss he and his companions were now inside. Just one useful trait of his, being a superhero and all. That was, of course, by definition, and not self-proclamation.
When it came right down to it, Samuel was no hero. He was an anarchist. He wanted the Queen put down because she was a total bitch. He didn’t care what the people did afterwards, he wasn’t going to help. He would disband the Gardeners, leave them to their own devices, and then bug out of the city.
Yes, a dick move on paper, but such was the way of Sunflower. Besides, he believed supers like him should hold no power over normal humans. Leave one people to rule over themselves and do the same with your own. Samuel would see the end of the Queen’s reign, and then to his own departure.
“We almost there?” Someone called out.
“YEP.” Samuel called out, his voice echoing through the tunnels. No one told him to keep quiet, they knew he was incapable of doing so. Not after some incident he had with the Nightmare Brigade in the past. Messed up his head a little, turned him from being a pretty quiet guy into the loudest man in Amgorrah.
“AND… OKAY, HERE WE ARE.”
Samuel and his Gardeners ceased moving, finding themselves in a large, circular cistern. An intersection into multiple points of the city, commonly used by rebels from other parts of the sewer system to get around.
“EVERYONE’S GOT THEIR DESTINATION.” Sunflower announced, “FIND YOUR SPOT, PLANT YOUR FUN BOXES, AND THEN MEET BACK HERE. REMEMBER, THE QUEEN WILL BE SENDING HER ARMY OF MALE PROSTITUTES ON YOU, SO BE READY TO TIP THEM. WITH BULLETS.”
The Gardeners did as their leader ordered, disbanding and heading off in separate directions. A few of them stuck around however, remaining with Samuel.
“WE’VE GOT OUR OWN PLAN, BOYS.” He said, “LET’S BOOGIE.”

The Flying Dream stepped out of the alley and into the dark, quiet that is the streets of an unsafe city at night. In her superhero form, Kennedy was not fearless, but she enjoyed a confidence she didn't have when she was just Kennedy.
Tonight she was wandering around, headed for The Tower. It has been a long time goal of The Flying Dream to find a way into the prison unnoticed and to release all of the prisoners. Staying close to the shadows, Kennedy began to pick up speed.
Kennedy stopped in her tracks and turned around so fast she almost crashed to the ground. Who said superheros couldn't be clumsy?
"Are you The Flying Dream?"
Blushing under her mask from embarrassment over almost falling, Kennedy motioned defensively.
"Depends, whose side are you on?"
"Do I look like someone who would support the Queen to you? We need your help."
Kennedy looked him over. He was nicely dressed but covered in dirt, like he spent a lot of time underground. He had dark hair with bangs that fell over his eyes so he had to keep brushing them away. Alright, I guess I can trust him for now.
"Just follow me-"
With that, the man dropped through a hole in the ground and Kennedy followed. He was quick, but The Flying Dream easily kept up with him as they raced through the sewers. She had no idea where she was going, but she felt like this was where she was meant to be tonight.

The Fear was not one for plans.
She found them to be boring, painfully stiff things. Limiting...
"To business!" She popped suddenly into a more...humanoid form that was inexplicably wearing a tie.
"Arachne has the best spies amongst us. She sees all. Now...I'm not sure how vocal they are..."
"Some of them are quite talkative. To me, at least." A small one was weaving a web between her fingers, and she seemed content to let it.
"Some of them are also quite small..." The fear didn't see any point in continuing the line of thought.
"As for you..." She turned to the Unseen. "You're good ad observing, for one who sees so little."
He seemed to ignore the slight, or perhaps he was used to The Fear's usual blunt tactlessness.
"Then it settles it. You two will find all the members of his little gang easily."
"Where do you think we're find them?" The Queen looked impatient.
"Where do you think? Right under our noses!"
The Fear flicked instantly to the form of a child, this time as a dark-haired boy. Her lucid moment was history. She had conveyed what she needed. She would issue the right orders to the right people later.
But right now, she wanted to have a bit of fun. Perhaps someone would disappear from the streets tonight.
Or perhaps she'd start the party first by blowing something up.
She excused herself from the Queen's little tea-party. The Queen knew the subtle signal to get a hold of her if she needed to.
First, to visit the tower. They'd brought some lad in earlier. Perhaps he would know something.
His screams would sing the town a lullaby to send them off to sleep, and she would haunt their nightmares.

The Queen smiled slightly as Fear left. She was unpredictable and maybe even a little chaotic. The Unseen was more calm, cool, and collected. Generally the more logical of the two.
She wasn't exactly sure where she fit in the dynamic. Perhaps as the bridge between the two...
"I almost feel bad for the poor person she gets her hands on," the Unseen said, his milky white eyes staring off into nothingness.
Arachne shrugged her shoulders, gripping her teacup with her free hand. She didn't want to dislodge the spider that was resting there. It would have to move its web eventually, but she was content to give it a home for the time being.
"It's unlikely that she'll let them die. You know she likes to feed off their reactions."
The Unseen nodded, placing his cup on a saucer with no problem. It was almost eerie, if she thought about it, he didn't seem to have any issues with his blindness.
In fact, he was the most observant of all of them.
She leaned back in her chair, "I'll have this group watched."
The spider on her lap clicked, its pincers gnashing together. The Queen frowned slightly, "Don't get yourself killed."
The spider skittered out the door, smaller spiders following. She wondered how many would return...
The Unseen made no move to leave, refilling his teacup. Not that she minded the company.
"What have you been up to? I haven't heard anything interesting lately."

"Apparently our forces need re-evaluation they are effective against the general public but not against a trained militia using guerilla tactics or superpowered "heroes", speaking of which I heard that there is another: female, possible flier" The Unseen reported as he added cream and sugar to his tea proceeding to stir gently before taking a sip of tea and continued speaking as Queen Arachne listened intently.
"I also heard that some ex-police are attempting to throw a coup independently of Sunflower's group because they want us locked up or executed for what we have done here which conflict with Sunflower's own issues with us cause i'm sure he would rather kill us."

"We're here to get you out!"
The little man gave her a look of relief. How amusing. It wouldn't work too many times...
"We need to know where you want to go." She fiddled with the chains binding him. She wasn't even sure what the form she was using signified, but the man wasn't someone she'd dealt with before.
Poor man. He wasn't prepared.
"I've got a place downtown across from the hospital where we hide, get me there..." He seemed relieved.
She pried him for more information as she fiddled with the chains. Eventually, he began to get quieter.
"You're not Luce, are you?"
The Fear smiled. Such a shame...
But there were more ways than one of getting him to talk.
Her nails dug into his skin as thin lines appeared over him, as if something was moving beneath his skin. He looked on in horror.
An illusion, but a convincing one.

The police... Oh yes, that worked out well the first time. Plus, half their force was currently rotting away in Fear's playpen.
"The police are weak, surely you don't think they can do anything of value," Queen Arachne mumbled around the lip of her teacup.
The Unseen shrugged, "Well, it all depends on..." He trailed off, his eyes glancing at something. She wondered if he could actually see, or if the movement was involuntary.
She pursed her lips, setting the teacup on a little saucer before pressing her hand over her eyes. It was too freaking bright...
"Are you alright?" The Unseen muttered. She frowned, standing from her chair and turning the lights off. That helped a little bit...
"I'm fine," she said, dropping back into her seat. The larger spider, one of the smarter ones, slid from it's perch in her hair to rest in the center of her forehead. They talked for a little bit longer, although they wouldn't make any final decisions would Fear.
"No, you're right," she rubbed her temples. "I'll have the watchmen increased along the main streets."
The Unseen shifted in the darkness, "Arachne, tell me what's wrong. I won't tell Fear if you're worried about it."
Arachne laughed. Fear probably already knew... That little demon seemed to know everything.
"No. It's no big deal. It doesn't interfere with my ability to do my job."
She bid him goodnight and quickly made her way to her chambers. She moved into her walk-in closet and shut the door. She pressed her face against the floor, grabbing at a piece of cloth to slide under her head. The migraines and headaches were nothing new. She'd had them for quite a long time.
She usually liked to let the pain built until her head felt like it was about to explode, but she just couldn't take it today. She felt around in the corner of the room, her fingers wrapping around the rounded body of a rather large black widow spider. She felt it's pincers sink into her skin.
The poison couldn't kill her. It just succeeded in numbing everything. The slight bit of pain was worth it.
She smiled slightly.
That felt better.

The Unseen merely shrugged to himself and made his way out, not that it bothered him but he was rather perplexed by the actions of others such as social interaction. The Unseen had no need for it other than to inform the others of the happenings in the city, with that he decided to continue observing the inhabitants of Amgorrah City even if it meant killing any who dared to get close to him whether they intended to or not.
Several hours had passed since Arachne had bade him farewell and made for her chambers, The Unseen had already invaded the homes of thirty different people and killed eighteen of them that had family in Sunflower's group that called themselves; The Gardeners. The others posed no threat for the time being but he still had several dozen houses to "observe" before he would allow himself to even consider resting.
