So, uh, Mass Effect is a little bit more deadly serious than the stuff I would usually write. Since I don't do feature RPs, I'm focusing on doing it right. This is supposed to feel like a Mass Effect game (as far as that's possible with only words), and everything that entails. Tough moral decisions! Cool starships! Flashlight heads! Giant mechanical cuttlefish from the dawn of time and beyond the galaxy!

I need something a bit softer and more mellow to even me out, I think. A light-hearted RP about... elves and flowers and that.
Somebody should write one.

RAGE has impeccable gameplay and graphics, but the story's a little lacking. Metro 2033 is pretty evenly balanced in both areas, and Singularity is fair as well.

Honestly, I'd go with RAGE. I loved it.

Hey guys. Long time, no say. I've been busy for quite a while. Mind if I can make a Role-Player profile of myself?

I didn't think RAGE was that good of a game. But nobody does a shotgun like id. It's just corridor shootings with a bit of shoddy car combat and bullet sponge enemies.
The graphics is nice though.

I don't play FPS/TPS very much (Mass Effect is kind of close tho), so I can't really have an opinion on Rage. Ask me about Fighting Games and JRPG/RPG's though and I'll tell you everything I know.

Sorry guys, been a few busy/down-mood days. Hard to get that motivation up to come on and post a bit when you're trudging through emotional muck.



I am working on my post for the Mass Effect RP, however. I'll also be working on an RP, and finally tackling the Neo the World content that I have etched out finally in my book. Mostly just an outline for what I want to do and the various sections so I know what I have to write.

Crap I didn't even finish the first segment for "Aria of the Broken God." Been doing steady on writing anime and video game stuff for my tumblr, however.

Shmup wise: Death Smiles is pretty fun, and so is Trigger Heart Excelica. (Shmup = Shoot 'em Up) I'm sure there are more of the genre floating around on XBL, and eventhough I'm bad at them I really recommend them to anyone.

Fighting game wise? I'll throw all my recommendations upon Blazblue Continuum Shift Extend. Eventhough I'm still a little heart broken with how they nerfed my Tsubaki...More popular fighting games would be SSFIVAE and Ultimate MvC3.

As far as RPGs for XBOX? Uhm...despite it not being popular I had fun playing the Last Remnant, and Agarest War Zero looks interesting. Tales of Vesperia is also wonderful and recommended a lot of the time by the Tales of fanbase. There's also Star Ocean, which is fun but I found the combat system just a teensy bit overwhelming for me.

I can't really think of much since I don't own an XBox anymore, but yeah...

Oh I forgot, that Kingdom game with McFarlane's art and R.A. Salvatores writing? Two of the greatest creative minds in Fantasy in one game? Hell yeah. I'll be buying that game the moment I get access to money.

The writing is apparently a bit of a disappointment according to reviews. Plus, it's an EA game. People shouldn't buy EA games.
