RPs based on existing works such as Dungeons and Dragons can be found in the Feature RP forum. This RP forum is for original storylines only. I don't think there are any DnD RPs up at the moment though. Once you get better at RPing, maybe you could try to make one?

As for what to join if you're new. Eh, nobody can really tell you for sure. Just judging by the way you type (lack of errors, good grammar, etc) I'd say you could probably fit in almost anywhere. If you're really not sure though, find an RP that doesn't seem to be flooded with "wall of text" posts. By that, I mean join something casual. If you're unsure how to RP, you don't want to join something where everyone is posting 10+ paragraphs per post. Though on the other hand, RPing with good RP'ers can help you out a lot. My first RP was full of great RP'ers, and because of that I learned pretty quickly and caught on easily.

So uh... try something less hardcore for starters, but don't be afraid to move on to more complex looking RPs. Even if you know you can't write as well as the people in the RP, everyone here is friendly and will help you out if you take a chance and join it.

Also, if anyone remembers that Castlevania RP I was talking about a long time ago, I'll be posting it soon. So Castlevania fans, get ready to join the hunt.

Sort of already working on the layout, but would anybody be interested in a death rp? I was thinking about basing it out during the time Light goes to college for the time line, and we all rp it out. Of course, it not going to go exactly like the manga, but I figure it move much differently than that.

Victor: There's no D&D RPs around, but there's certainly a fair number of sufficiently high fantasy stuff being slung around that I'm sure it'll float your boat just the same.

Ultimatum: I looked at your Castlevania RP, then realised that to realy take part it would help to have done more than just watch the odd cutscene. Then I felt bad for being such a failure

Angel in Shadows: I have fond memories of breaking that rule when I was just a litle RPlet I was such a bad person.

Darkking: I'll check your RP out when it's fully posted and worked out and such, as I've recently rekindled my love for Deathnote.

On that Note durr hurr pun, why are there so many good RPs coming out when I have exams next month?! Cosmic Latte, I'll be making a character for Cherion's Mosaic as soon as I get my head on the right way around and sort myself out.

So, has anybody ever tried to do a World of Darkness RP? If you don't know, the World of Darkness is a setting for RPG's similar to D&D, and the most famous RPG in the World of Darkness series is Vampire: The Masquerade, a staple of 1990's gaming. However, I don't wish for a Vampire RP, but an RP based off of Changeling: The Lost, one of the lesser gamelines about faeries.

I'm just curious here, I'm not going to make an RP on here until I get the hang of this and get to know people here better.
