One Piece Role Play: Gold Roger's 2nd Secret (NO PM, ACCEPTING, RATING: T)

OOC: Do you guys mind being right outside Rogues Town? If so, then I'll change it...

Luin finished his meal in the bar, and paid in full. He then left his tavern in Rogue Town and went to see the sights. He slipped on his copper gloves and walked slowly, still on alert, though the town wasn't dangerous to him. He never really cared for towns, and didn't want to find himself trapped in a cage where he would only see bad people. He hated jails, and had escaped his fair share since he got his power. Finally, lost in thought, he arrived at the gallows and looked out to the sea, just in time to see three ships converging, with pirate flags flying. Luin felt like going out to see what was happening, but his main goal was to stay low.

Luin found that it was easy to be a normal citizen when he felt like he could do nothing, and that was his goal, at least until he found a mate or a ship. He was about to turn away when he saw a military officer heading straight toward him with a rifle. Not wanting another jail stay, he made a snap decision. He charged his gloves with electricity, jumped toward the ships, and released a bolt of lightning to propel himself to the ship. He landed on the ship with the scythes on its sails.

Luin was ecstatic. Not only did he join a pirate crew and land a boat, if temporary, but he did all of that in one day! "Thanks so much for accepting me," he said, grinning. Then, his luck ran out. A sudden storm caught the ship, and the boat started rocking. Luin ran toward the bow to see what was wrong, and found that the storm was brought on by a barrage of cannon fire from Rogues Town. "Um, yeah," he said meekly, "let's just get going now."

As the ship turned to the sea, Luin saw another trouble. There was another ship on the horizon, and another. It almost made him go catatonic. "Another Buster Call! NO! It can't be..." he trailed off and sat in a fetal position, with memories flooding in from all sides. First the great assault on Enies Lobby, then the explosions, and finally the Buster Call. He found himself as scared as he had been back then, and sat there shaking. Staring into the night, he consoled himself with the images of his family, who fought valiantly, and then Luffy, who won out over CP9. He then rattled off the memories of going home, and living an otherwise normal life.

OOC: Not actually a buster call... Luin isn't that important yet. He is just paranoid.
P.S If the Enies lobby incident was too far back, then I'll change it to a different Island...
