Music of the Night [M] [Nn- PM]

Music has always been enjoyed by people for over hundreds of years. But now in 2200 music is a weapon. People with the special gift of magic music were hunted and used as great weapons. The remaining gifted people ran and hid in a desprate attempt to get away from those who sought them. Soon some of the strongest of them began to come together and tried and tried to cast a spell that would stop the humans. The gifted people could only come out at night in fear of being caught during the day. Soon they were not able to come out at all. There was only one thing they could do. They cast the strongest spell they knew and made the world forever be in darkness. IT was always night and the gifted people could now go out when ever they wanted. The humans stayed in doors because if they were to go out the gifted had the upper hand now. They took over and soon they were the rulers. One hundred years later it was still forever night. Some of the gifted wanted to turn the world back to the way it was when the sun could come out. Shadow Creatures began to form and they terrorised the humans and gifted alike. Can the current day gifted defeat the shadow creatures and turn the world back to the way it was? If they can not the world will forever be in darkness and the shadow creatures will take over!

History: Saro is a Gifted, and was born into a Gifted family. She was raised, along with her sister, who dispised what she was. Saro, unhappy with her life, ran away at the age of 18.

Chris was walking down a dark forest park. He looked up at the moon which he saw day and night. He felt his Ocarina that hung from his neck on a silver chain. He put it to his mouth and began to blow. The song he played was slow and sad. The trees began to sway and he flowers heads began to droop. The song made everything near it sad. He walked to a pool of filty water and it began to become crytal clear. The good thing about the song was it had a great effect cleaning the water. He played for a little longer before he stopped and toke a small drink from the sparkling water. He smile and he played the same song but the trees stopped swaying and the flowers looked up. The water began to get murky and was soon undrinkable. He smile and walked along the forest path once more.

Chris walked along the path and he began to think. He was inturupted when he heard breathing behind. Since he was gifted he could hear almost every sound around him. A man with a bandana over his eyes. He had a sword in his hand and he lunged for Chris. Chris untrapped the dager around his leg and blocked the attack. Chris could tell this man was human and hated the gifted. "I thought gifted people were not meant to have weapons" sneered the man. "What the ruling gifted do not know, can not hurt them" said Chris sneering. If possible the air got colder. Chris took out his second dagger and now he had a dagger in each hand. "Bring it" he said. The man lunged and Chris side-stepped. Chris lunged and the man dodged with enexpected speed. They were evenly matched and Chris had only one option. He took out his Ocarina and began playing a fast and jumpy song. Soon vines burst from the ground and wrapped around the mans arms, forcing him to drop his weapon.

Darius smirked, it seemed that this one actually had a brain, he flexed his arms and the vines began to stretch and tear , he tore his arms free of the vines and dove to the side, he scooped up his Katana and got back into a fighting position.

"but how?" the "gifted" asked pausing for a split second in his song.
"a deeper purpose than conquest of a weaker race drives me and none will stand in my way" Darius answered charging forwards, he had yet to use his full strength and was hoping he wouldn't need to, he parried a slash from the dagger and went for a back swing but was forced to dodge a wall of vines, he raced to his left hoping to keep the vines behind him, he had the entire area mapped out within his head and it would be easy to navigate now.

"it seems that this "gifted" uses what small brain he has" Darius taunted and spit on the ground again, Darius rolled forwards slashing at the "gifted" again but it was blocked by the dagger, Darius kept circling around the "gifted" hoping to find an opening and finally he did, he slashed and cut the mans arm, the man backed away without making a sound and Darius prepared to attack again.
