Log in to remove this sponsored message 'The World'. An MMORPG(Massive Multi-Player Online Role Playing Game) created around late 2009. During the late 2009 and early-mid of 2010 certain events occoured in which players went in to coma's in real life. These events were stopped by a group of players. After that, more events came, it hadn't truley stopped. Again, it was 'supposedly' stopped, by another group, now known as the 'dot-hackers'. Sometime between late 2010 and 2017, 'The Worlds' database was set on fire by a "gone crazed" employee/worker at CC corp. This is where 'The World R:2' was then created. In 2017, a man, the age of 17, logs into 'The World' with the name Haseo. Strangley, he is one of the origonal "dot-hackers" but had lost his memory when he went into a coma. He goes through another set of events with players falling into comas, but this time, the comatose players were close to him. Making him go insane for a power to kill the thing that made those who got put into comas. Soon after, he finds that the being known as AIDA is to be responsible. Once again, all of these AIDA, atleast the bad kind, were destroyed, and all the comatose players have returned to their somewhat normal lives. They could still be playing today, but you would be lucky to see them. Now, it is 2020, 10 years after all of these events and 'The World' is finally at a point where everyone is safe from being put into comas in the real world, from 'The World'. It is still R:2 of 'The World', but speak of 'R:3' has been going around, but CC corp knows that 'R:3' will only come if 'R:2' gets destroyed, which they are sure is to not happen. This story, however, begins now, right here, at your computer. And it all began with an Admin, and a regular player: Hm?! A new board is in the community forums, below Rumors, but above Apkallu! Hm? An email...What!? Not created by CC corp, and its ip adress cant be traced?! I'll go check this out for myself....Hm?! Access denied? Another email, from my neighbor, a regular player. Lets read it. Dear Atams, I have just heard news about the 'Destiny Board' and it appears that I can log into it, but my other admin friend says he cant. Apparently, only regular players get into it. I tried retelling what the message said to him, but he asked me what ***** meant. Apparently, anything discussed about what happens in there is bleeped out to any admins that try to read it. Also, no one can post a new message in there, everyone can only post to the topics that are made. Obviously, this is a severe problem. I was asked by Nelts to take up this case on my own, since Im one of the few regular players to be occupied with admin related bussiness. i hope to finish this. From: Zerlock I-I see...well then. A player who has read the board, and possibly posted into it, mabey not, and you discover to go to an area, but to appear in another one. (Delta) Hidden Forbidden Holy Ground is where you appear. And in there, you see a ghost-like figure up on the pedestal. You hear it mumbling, so you go closer, only to find that it is repeating three words over and over and over again. "What is Destiny?" Slowly once you are able to understand the words, it will dissapear, and you probobly never will see it ever again....or mabey you will? The current task at hand for you players who have encountered this: Find out who or what the ghost thing was, and what it can do, and what does destiny have to do with everything right now. General Bio: Personality: Gender: Starting Weapon: (you can make up a weapon, as long as it's generality belongs to your class) Starting Level: (Please be in the level limit of 1-30 for the beginning of the roleplay. Dont worry, you can level up as you go along with the story.) Classes- Twin Blade: In The World R:2, Twin Blades are extremely versatile, with more weapon types and subtypes than any other class. Their attacks are somewhat weak, but quick and easy to combo. Twin Blades have high agility and attack with two short swords. Their rapid attacks leave no opening for an opponent to counterattack. Tribal Grapplers- This class has the advantage of a very high attack speed, and in addition to very high HP. Their defense, however, is very low. Tribal Grapplers wield light gauntlet type weapons. These can range from lightweight gloves, to oversized, paw-like gauntlets. Steam Gunners- They specialize in long-range attack and are weak against close encounters, but if necessary their guns can be used as powerful melee weapons which keep most enemies away. Their shots are skills that operate the exact same way spells do, but deal physical damage instead. Shadow Warlock- Shadow Warlocks are experts in attack magic and are allied with the dark spirits. They always carry a book of spells known as a Grimoire to heighten their magic power. Although they can use some healing magic, their repertoire is limited and not very efficient. Lord Partizan- Lord Partizans wield a giant lance. No other class can match its piercing power. They have high defensive power compared to other classes, but are weaker against magic. They're also more monster-oriented, with a lot of good armor-piercing and anti-air weapons and skills. Harvest Cleric- Harvest Clerics are experts in healing magic and are allied with the light spirits. They wield a staff in battle in the name of Eir, the Goddess of Tranquility. They can use some attack magic after they reach a certain level, but most concentrate on healing and support magic. Flick Reaper- The Flick Reaper specializes in attacks meant to keep multiple enemies away. However, they are ineffective at long range. They "flick" multiple enemies and push them away before they can get close enough for melee attacks. Flick Reapers use large weapons such as Axes and Scythes to attack with. Edge Punisher- Edge Punishers are a job class that prefers to wield giant swords. A blow from one of these weapons has enormous power. It can slice most enemies in half with a single strike. Edge Punishers also have high defense from the heavy armors they wear. Macabre Dancer- Macabre Dancers are experts at status and ability magic. Since they are allied with both the light and dark spirits, they are proficient in healing and attack magic. They hold large fans in both hands during battle. Their dancing form is said to enchant those who watch. Blade Brandier- Blade Brandiers fight with a sword similar to a katana. It is said that all warrior classes derive from this class. Although their abilities are average, they can adapt to a wide variety of situations. Blade Brandier's damage and hit rate are somewhere in between Twin Blade and Edge Punisher, making it an average class in terms of strength. In regards to speed, the Blade Brandier is not as fast as a Twin Blade or Tribal Grappler, however, they are much faster than heavily armored classes. Adept Rogue- Adept Rogues are eventually capable to equip various weapons and use various magic. However, each weapon must be learned separately and require items, but the training will eventually pay off making them highly adaptable in any situation. Adept Rogues acquire several forms through Job Extend, each of which allows him or her to use a different weapon type. Each and every grouge may have up to 3 classes of his or her choice. Upon entering the world, he began to realize why his friends recommended it to him. He really was amazed by the graphics that made the game the way it was. He is currently not any type of special player, like a PK or PKK, but he does belive that if he gets attacked, he wont hold back much. He also has a habit of acting like a noob to draw out pks. Personality: Fun loving most of the time, but can turn serious in an instant, much about when he is in battles. It is a tactic he belives to startle pkers. Gender: Male Starting Weapon: Lunar Scythe (Darkness attack and critical +25%) Starting Level: 24 Current Level: 29 User Name: Kaori Night RL(reallife) Name: Yuka Shibayama Age: 16 Class: Blade Brandier Appearence: Two brown pigtails on either side of her head, she wears a short black dress with white ruffles on the front, has black boots that go up to her thighs with white crescent moons on the kneecaps. She has purple eyes and and a crescent moon shaped tattoo on her cheek. General Bio: An old PK from R:1, at the start of R:2 she generally gave up PKing. She still does occasionally (she's a member of Kestrel) but not much at all. She has a hot temper and you don't want to be on her hit-list. She's relentless and tenacious and knows plenty of people in high places. Also an amateur hacker, she's been known to sometimes be able to gate out of towns and areas without using a warp gate or platform. Kaori tends to stick alone, but sometimes travels with a party. He wears brown hiking boots, blue jeans, a light blue T-shirt, and a dark blue over shirt (long sleeve but thin) with a stylish plaid design. General Bio: He is American, born and raised in the United States, and is experienced in the field of martial art as he has taken several courses on. His current level would be that of a black belt. Skye was brought up like any other normal child in a home with two loving parents. His dad works while his mom stays at home and takes care of him and his little brother, Joshua. Skye has a girlfriend named Grace Potter, age 18, who is around his height and has brown eyes and long brown hair. They are seldom seen apart unless logged on to The World, in which they sometimes meet up and hang out. The both of them have been dating for about 4 years now and they seem inseparable. Skye has had his share of fights, most if not all were started by others. He never starts a fight, he only finishes it, and he shows chivalry during combat, which is seldom seen nowadays. Personality: Skye tends to be a little reserved most of the time but can easily be outgoing if someone starts a topic in which he has great interest in. He is brave, kind-hearted, and will take up for any of his friends if they are in danger, especially Grace which he loves. Skye possesses a keen sense of modesty and generally has an overall nice attitude towards others. He always keeps himself clean, as well as his room, and eats healthily everyday. His favorite food is ramen noodles (the spicy kind) and he likes to draw, fish, hunt, play video games, and hang out with Grace in his spare time. He was usually a lonely player warrior and only went on adventures with members from a guild he once had. His guild members looked up to him because of his determination to always get stronger. However one day he logged off and never logged back in, and eventually his guild vanished. Now, he logs back in after a long time of staying off 'The World'... Personality: He hardly trusts anyone, usually likes doing things his own way, since he was used to giving orders. He just talked about what he needed to talk about and cared more about leveling up. Then he started to talk more, and became a more social person. So now he goes training and adventuring with people he does not know, when he feels like adventuring he invites two random PCs and goes adventuring with them. (if they want) Personality: He is not the leader type, he just likes to be more suportive, so if anyone asks him for a leader decision, he most probably will not give any anwser, sice he is most expecting for others to decide, even though he will say what he feels that is the right thing to do, being leader ot not. General Bio: Zelgadis has been playing this game since the original "The World R:1". He is the grandson of Phyllo, but he never knew much about his grandfather in-game. He knew about all of the events including the original .hackers and was attacked by Azure Kite in the year 2017. He was Data Drained, and fell back in his chair in real life, and hit his head, putting him into the hospital with amnesia. He had forgotten his original character username/password, and was forced to create a new one, losing his level 98 Adept Rogue. He is now a level 10 character, searching for answers to his forgotten memories, at the same time, being a PK and PKK. Personality: Zelgadis is a very mysterious individual. Not much is known about him, nor him about himself. Gender: Male Starting Weapon: Level 1 Twin Blades, noobish ones. Starting Level: 10 Current Level: 28 User Name: CandyMom. RL(reallife) Name: Candice. Age: 25. Class: Harvest Cleric. Appearance: Candice has waist-length straight blonde hair, a heart-shaped face with pouty red lips, heavily lashed shimmery blue eyes and a natural blush. These traits are the exact same as her real appearance, except for the fact that in real life, Candice covers these already beautiful features in heavy amounts of cosmetics. She wears a powder blue cloak with a hood that reaches down to her knees and a matching bodice/corset with a pair of pants in the same style. General Bio: Candice grew up in a priveledged household with wealthy parents and superficial friends. As you can imagine, this led her to be a rather shallow, selfish person and when she was in high school, became head cheerleader and dated the school's most handsome (and brainless) goalie. They got serious and ended up being voted prom king and queen and all that other nauseating, lovey-dovey stuff. Fresh out of high school at eighteen, Candice got pregnant and her boyfriend panicked and left her. She ended up having a little boy whom she named Darren. Her parents spoiled Candice, paying for a nanny to care for Darren and allowing her to still act like a teenager even though she was a mother now. However, eight years later, Candice realized that she hardly knew her son and wqanted to start acting like his mother for once. She asked him what he was interested in and he replied that he liked to play "The World" on the computer. Wanting to have something to do in order to spend quality time with her son and make up for the years she lost with him, she decided to try this thing out for herself and made an account. Now she plays the game with her son. Personality: Candice is a very sweet, kind-hearted person who loves her son very much but is having a difficult time balancing being a mom and being Candice. She can be very materialistic, shallow and selfish at times but realizes these flaws in herself and tries very hard to put her son before herself. That's why she always sets aside time to play "The World" with him because it is something that she knows he loves and they get to spend time with each other when she plays with him. Gender: Female. Appearance: Darren looks a lot like his mother, but posesses a bit of his father's traits as well (not that Darren's ever met or heard anything about his father during his entire life, anyway). He has sandy blonde hair that's usually ruffled and messy in a shaggy style but isn't terribly long. He has a light complexion and blue eyes, but his facial structure is a little more sharp-lined than Candice's, a trait inherited from his dad. His character looks the exact same as his real appearance (same as his mother) and his character wears a dusty red vest with carrying straps over loosely-fitted pants that are a very dark, murky green. General Bio: Darren grew up in a priveledged lifestyle and was spoiled, but for some reason, he never took on the same shallowness his mother did. He never met his father and has never heard him mentioned at all during his life. He was raised by his nanny and grew up knowing her better than his own mother. He was always a little sad and felt lonely when his mother had other things to do and was too busy to spend time with him. Recently, however, his mom's been spending more time with him by playing his favourite game, "The World". He loves spending time with her when they play the game and is really starting to get to know her better and become closer with her. Darren absolutely adores Candice, although Candice doesn't know it. Personality: Darren is a very intelligent, sweet and forgiving boy. Even when his mother seems to forget about him, he's always ready to forget about it and welcome her back with a big hug and kiss when she does get around to paying attention to him again. He's never held a grudge against his mother for her flighty ways in his life and loves her with all his heart. He's playful and friendly, innocent and trusting. He likes adventure as well. Gender: male Starting Weapon: Space Fist Starting Level: currently level 38 Guilds and their info: Info: a guild now over run by pks and those who just do whatever they want to do. This guild has no purpose but to give people a place. This guild welcomes anyone, since members are always needed. The old leader, Gabi, has quit, and the new leader is Bourdeaux Info: A guild based on peace inside 'the world' and currently enemies with the guild Kestrel. Their goal is to create a system where pks and regular players can play to their hearts content without people getting upset over things. Currently lead by two people. Zelkova and Kaede. The reason there are two leaders is because Zelkova is rarly seen anymore. Info: Not much is known about this guild. It was started just after the mysterious DESTINY board was created, and is belived to be run by the one who created the DESTINY board. However, the system admins checked out the person who made the guild, and it was nothing of the sort, but just a guild devoted to helping people find their true destinies within 'The World'. Terra get's home after school and he goes to his altimit's desktop, and he saw that tehre was something new on the Comunity Forum, he then sees a new thread on the World Board

I think it was awesome, i mean, it was a 1 vs 1 fight, ont guy was a ranker Ochili, i think he is a PKer, against a unknonw guy, i think he's name was Fox, man Fox should be a Ranker, i mean he plundered that PKer Ochili in no time, i instantly said yeah to Fix cuz Ochili had PKed me once... well leave you're posts here on how you feel about the match "Oh.... That Fox guy must be realy somthing, i think i will train if i am to one day fight him in the arena.2 Terra then logs in to The World "Now let's see here, who i am gonna invite to join my party? Ho there he is. Terra aproaches one PC "Hey there remember me? We went adventuring the other day" Liutenant Okada responds to him "Yeah i remember you, you were fantastic, but what you wnat to go adventure again? If so wou will have to wait five mins cuz i am almost finished here, okay? "Yeah sure no problem, in mean time i will go find a Cleric to help us out." "No need for that Terra, i have i Cleric friend i will contac her now to saves us time, OK? Terra receives a short email:come meet me where i aborded you yesterday. "What the.... ho well, hey Liutenent, when you are ready short email me cuz i have to do something wuick here in town OK? I will see you in a bit" "OK, see ya" As Terra aproaches the meeting place the same man pushes him to a alley "What the hell!! i told you i am gonna hit you if you continue to aboard me like this." "I am sory, i do not want any body to know our conversation, i am Zerlock, do not think we were intruduced before right?" "Well... No we were'nt, i am Terra" "Kid another four people like you have seen the ghost, they all will be meeting in that area i told you, so again do not forget to apear." With that the Zerlock vanishes, and Terra receives a short emai:Hey i am ready, i'll be waiting for you by the cjaos gate, and i am with my Cleric friend already, so hurry up OK? "Man... That guy is weird, ho well i guees i will be training now" Terra meets with Okada, and head for, a area given by the Cleric, a level 30 area, when they get there they strat to fight monsters, Okada started the Field at level 24, and the cleric at level 20, they basacly had to proctect the cleric "Man this is hard, but my my calculations i am gonna get out of here at level 29, if i deafeat all the monsters, including the boss. You Okada should leave at level 27, or 28, if ou so not die. As for you, Reddie, you will reach 14, maybe 15, if you do not die, and we have lot's of rengeki bonus, lut us pray." They fight madly to defeat them all, now it comes the boss, it was Dragon type, with 2300 HP, so they had a realy hard time, they saved Reddie from losing her life, as the battle rages on, they use beast awakening, going on a frenzy, unfortunatly when the awakening was over, Terra back a çittle to heal Reddie's SP, but the boss atacked him and killed him, he then was eventualy revived, going berserk "HAAAARRRRG....... Tiger Blitz, Tiger Blitz, TWIIIIIN MOOOOONS....huh...hu..., man Beast Awakening... Twin Moons." He almost finished the boss with the last awakening, but the boss casted a healing spell, fortunatly it was only a 100 HP, then with a attack from Okada followed by onne from Reddie, the bos goes Rengeki pronto "AAAAAAAHHHH, RENGEKI, TWIN MOONS........" Thus finishing every one off they go to the nearest portal to head back to town, there was a medical crew there that healed them, even that healing was not needed "See you are at level 27 Okada, and you are at level 24, but one more fight and you will be at 25, i could have bean at 29, if that damn boss had not killed me" As they were to leave someone attacks them making them to clrear otu of the teleport, it was 3 PKs, the medical crew gives one last healing to Terra's party and they run of to town, scared "What they ran away??? Cowards... they could stood and help us fight these bastards" said Terra irritaded "Are you insane?? There is no way were gonna fight with them." said Okada with fear in his voice "Why not?" "Cuz i eraned a lot of EXP here and i do not want to losse it fighing PKs, if i die i will go to my last save, and i was at level 14 yet ya remember? And also i am the leader here, so whai say goes" "If you wish to leave , then go, never thoug that you would be such i coward, i will be facing them alone if you want." Then Reddie stood up and said "I will stayt here and fight, maybe this will be the first time i defeat a PK  "Okada felt he add no choice so he joined the battle with the PKs, one of the PKs starts talking "Are you done yet, i mean, we are listening for you talkin by 2 minutes now, do not EVER make a PK like me wait, can i kill you now?" Terra quicly awserd "Come you filthy bastards, this will be a day that you will regret that you ever become a PK, Tiger Blitz" With those words he rushed to the PKs, theystill had some morale, from the boss, so it would be easier to get to the awakening, since that would seem the perfect thing to finih them off Okada does a Rengeki, thus leaving them to full morale, then he calls for awakening, finishing off the PKs "Man... That was a great battle... But why do PK give so little EXP, i mean they are hard so they should give more EXP, at least was enough to get me to level 29, and Reddie to level 25, Let's head back to town." Zelgadis logged in again, pondering what happened last time. He was supposed to meet Zerlock at the level (Delta)Lazy Mangled Cat's Eye in a couple days.
Although last night, something bothered Zelgadis. He had a dream about blue flames and a person dressed in red...a white flash, then all into nothingness. He kept getting this image in his head:  Zelgadis knew he needed answers, and hoped Zerlock could give him some sort of answer if he could just draw the picture, upload it into Apkallu, and notify him of it. "So, for now, I guess I'll just go level up," said Zelgadis patiently. Zelgadis chose the area words Chosen Hopeless Nothingness. It was said that an epic battle and a birth of a Titan happened here, so Zelgadis thought he'd level up at the same time as he searched a little bit for answers. Zelgadis walked around a bit, killed things for about 40 minutes, leaving him at level 19. He stood in front of a door that had purple gas around the footing of the entrance. Zelgadis opened the door, and saw someone looking back at him.  "Incomplete...Unfinished...Continue at your own risk..." said the man, as he walked off into the darkness. "That was too creepy...but my only option is to continue, I do NOT give up on leads this big," said Zelgadis, with a hint of excitement. Zelgadis walked through the purple mist into the blackness, and then he fell, for what felt like an eternity, then he landed in an Outer Dungeon. "The hell is this...?" whispered Zelgadis, obviously bewildered. There was a save point in front of where he fell, so he decided to take advantage of it and save his character progress before going any further. Zelgadis saw the same man from before walking into the distance, and decided to follow him. It seemed as if he'd been following him for an hour, until the man turned around and started yelling. "LEAVE THIS PLACE!!! YOU SHOULD HAVE NEVER CAME HERE!!! GET OUT! GET OUT!!!" screamed the man, about to attack Zelgadis. "I can help you find what you're looking for...don't you desperately want to find it?" asked Zelgadis, trying to make up whatever he could to keep him from attacking. "No! I can find him on my own!" said this man, and a battle area closed in around them two. "So you're really wanting a fight, ay?" asked Zelgadis, as he pulled out his Twin Blades. "You normals think you're oh-so-very powerful...die. Circle of Inferno!" said the man, quite calmly.  Zelgadis fell to the floor and faded into nothing, dead. Zelgadis was in the area with Zerlock and everybody else, he almost felt as if he was already there from the start. He had been feeling lightheaded in the real-world ever since the "Outer Dungeon" incident.
"Alright, I am Zelgadis. I have been playing since the very beginning of the World R:1. I experienced the meeting of Gho the same as all of you, but I have experienced 2 other strange events since then. One of which, I posted on the Destiny Board, about the engraved word that affected my character. The second one, however, just happened to me. I entered the area Delta Chosen Hopeless Nothingness, and defeated every monster, and towards the end, I saw a door with purple mist at the footing of the door. I entered, but saw a man in the darkness who told me it was Incomplete, and to enter at my own risk. So I entered and fell into a corrupted level, and followed this man for awhile. He got angry and told me he would "find him on his own" and attacked me with an attack that doesn't exist in the world. It one-hit-killed me, and even made me feel lightheaded in the real-world. And Zerlock, what would you make of this drawing?" Zelgadis short-mailed the drawing to Zerlock. "This image won't leave my head after I dreamt it last night...and here is the attack, if I remember correctly." ------------------- .hack//Destiny RP | |
