So I think this game looks quite interesting.
I have had my eye on it for awhile, and I didn't realize that Chopin was so old. o.0; However I do like the character design very much, and am actually considering cosplaying him. XD ------------------- I want your love. And I want your revenge

I want to see a back shot of him. Because it looks like he has some metallic object hanging down from the back of his collar. I need to know what it looks like, so that I can make it. Huh just when I log on after a long time. xD;; There's info about the battle system, I'll get to it right now. ^-^;; Also some more characters.
My only prediction when it comes to feedback for this game is that people who hated Colette in Tales of Symphonia will most certainly hate Polka. Ooohh... Poor Polka, to be hated by people who hate people like Colette and Shirley. At least Polka looks like she can fight by herself, as opposed to Colette who was shocking and probably couldn't survive a battle by herself, what with her slow movement when it came to throwing her chakra.

One hit attacks? Do you mean no combos? Or maybe it's just the video that is displayed, may be the early stages of the game where characters only have one stage attacks?

I'm sorry, I should have rephrased that: I haven't seen her really using Physical attacks, it's mostly magical, for example:
"Shootingu Sutar!!" BAMMM! 478 damage. Everyone else's attacks hover around 90-100 per hit. And there are a lot of hits. (P.S. So I prefer Aya Hirano's VO for Polka. Sue me.) ------------------- | |

I haven't heard her in the depressing scenes in English, but she sounds very good in Japanese. XD When she casts herself off the cliff and the guy is like "Pooolkaaaaaaa!" It's sad.
lol. And it's "Shade Comet!" or "Orange Glow." She sounds awesome when she says "Shade Comet". XD There are videos were she's by herself though, and she's hitting the monsters lots, like Chopin is in the boss battle video that's leaked. ------------------- I want your love. And I want your revenge

I hope Polka isn't a self-basher. And I just noticed that she always lifts her hands at about a 45 deg. angle off her body, LOL. So, skills change depending on location... @_@. Nice idea by Namco as usual. XD. I bet this might be better than the Tales series. ------------------- | |

I'll orgasm if it's better than Tales of Symphonia.
It's got a lot to live up to. That game was just magical! <3 And the light/dark concept is indeed interesting. Polka has a healing spell when she's standing in light, and an attack one when she standing in dark. It's awesome, because even the shadows of the monsters act as a darkness area, so going up right next to them and standing in their shadow will allow Polka or anyone for that matter, to use their dark ability. XD The other female characters, aside from the twins, are all wearing skimpy outfits. The one with the Rose Sword looks interesting though. XD ------------------- I want your love. Polka attacks pretty well with physical, actually. Gamespot has an English footage of a part that's most likely in the beginning or something.
And yes I too have noticed that Polka's arms always appear to be at an angle ... haha. Oh well. Character models are still stiff I guess. Reminds me of Symphonia's character models. tri-Crescendo's making the game, remember that, Namco's the publisher. But I guess that doesn't mean that Namco's not involved in the development in some way ... er? Regardless, tri-Crescendo did derive from tri-Ace, which derived from the original Tales of Phantasia team ... I'm not sure how Camelot is involved though ... Sakuraba seems to work for companies who were derived from the original Phantasia team from what I can tell. Why am I talking too much? D: I thought Colette holds out pretty well. She is pretty stong even though she's kind of slow ... er? PS tri-Crescendo was also involved with the Baten Kaitos games. xD By the way what do you think of the English voices? A lot of people are complaining about Polka's English voice. oO I also heard one of the twins was given the southern accent (USA) o__O Probably Salsa, since I can't imagine March sounding like that. xD Speaking of English, Gamespot.com has a video of an interview. I haven't seen it yet though. edit: Yeah Viola Falsetto and Claves are all wearing skimpy outfits oO. Is the one with the Rose Sword Claves? .... Wait Matt you can read Japanese text? I wish.. I did study it for around five years, but I don't know all that much.. truly. I was talking about Claves, and how her sword looks interesting. XD I don't mind Polka's english voice. It's suitable. It's sad though that the she believes that because a squirrel won't go near her, that it doesn't like her either. Her story seems so tragic. I can just see the ending of the game now... both Fryderk Francisz Chopin and Polka will die, and I'll be streaming tears remember the magical adventure that we all had. Somewhere on GameFAQs someone posted that on 1UP.com there's said to be double audio ... we don't know for sure, and people are having doubts seeing that the game is being brought over by Namco Hometek ... I will put it in Japanese though if it's there. xD ------------------- | |
