IGN Review

The results are in: IGN gives Elite Beat Agents a 9.5 out of 10. that's highly respectable, since Mario Kart got that score.

re: IGN Review

It deserves a high score, but I really wish that the original Japanese version would have been brought over instead; I'd chose J-Pop over most of the music in that game any day, and some of the levels are kind of lame.

re: IGN Review

This game deserves that. It takes the full advantage of the DS, and its fun. Best sound on a DS game, hands down.

re: IGN Review

only a 9.5? the music in this game is better than most in games from other consoles, i love the idea, and the fact that i can play it while most ppl are like wtf is going on

the game play is amazing and the story line is fantanstic, this game should get better but its too late now

9.5 because of the difficulty (oh the nights spent crying over 3 Star Let's Dance.)

re: IGN Review

OR... they could use Japanese music and your tradiontial American music into the game. I think that it deserves that 9.5 instead of a 10 because
1) It had too little levels to satisfy your gamer and
2) Some of the levels were lame, REALLY, lame.

Other than that, it's a good game. They just need to nail it better with it's sequel (if they make it that is... )

They are being overly generous giving this game that high of a score.
I mean, think about, who can honestly say they still play MK?
No one.

And who can say they still get ecstasy from playing EBA over and over and over?
I mean, am I the only one see how *bleep*ing repetitive this game is?
I mean, it's so repetitive it's pathetic. How many ways can you tap dots on a screen and how many times can you do it with it still being fun?

No, I do not think that you are the only one having that kind of a perspective on the game, but I do feel that out of all DS gamers everywhere, a strong number of positive remarks about the game are more than likely to outweigh your opinion. Yes, it may get repetitive, but you could say the exact same flaw about Guitar Hero or Rock Band. Are they getting bad coverage because of it? I sure don't think so.
