Ok, you'll all prob think I'm a noob for this, but after hearing a ton of explanations and reading tonsa guides, I still don't get how to do the ultimate artes. First I go into overlimit mode, then...what? Do an arcane artes and hold x? Da *bleep* is that suppose to mean?!!!!

and the elite artes ur talking bout r suppose to be called
ougi or sumthink ^^
but u dont see that name anywhere in the game so i dunno where these dudes tht make guides get the names from
but anywayz
u need to unlock all ur skills and master them all = do them all 50times and it will say mastered then in a battle after u have mastered that last skill out of all of the skills u got it will say like new skilled learned
E.g my swordsman learned dark sword (or dark blade) summit like tht i forgot
then , use a arcane skill while in overlimit R and L
then while ur using tht arcane keep pressing x
u dont have to keep pressing x its just u might miss the point where u need to press x and then it will use ur ougi
it should put the screen all on u

yea, I saw a party member do ultimate artes. Ok, for fighter, I need help! I always do swallow storm, and its suppose to be an arcane artes, then I keep pressing x, nothing happening! And o yea, do I have to master demon fang and stuff, cuz I think I did the skill less than 5 times xD!!!!

you have to master every move including base and there called hi-ougis
