WOO-HOOOOOOO!!!!!Tales of the world is coming to PSP and from what ive seen and heard, ITS GONNA ROCK!!! Now Ive got that out of my system, welcome to my thread. Im sure its self explanitory what you have to do so...start! I guess...

lol Well, don't you seem excited. I'm not sure if this game will be heading it's way to the US....or the UK...but I guess we can only hope that it makes it's way here as it looks like a great game...designing your own characters...battling side by side with characters from other Tales of... games such as Senel from ToL and Luke from ToTA.

Even if it doesnt come out in english im still buying it.
Ive got used to japanese since playing ToW: Narikiri dungeon 2.

I think it's cool that they have characters like Lloyd and Raine in this game. Also a lot of other characters from the tales series

has anyone already purchased this game? I plan on buying it, because you frankly cannot go wrong with buying a 'Tales of' series game, but I just want a second opinion.

the only thing I wanna know about are the load times... I can handle pretty much anything else; choppy graphics, poor voice actors, you name it.

someone who has the game please please tell me that there is some sort of online mode where you can atleast fight against your friend's original made character.

I don't have the game, but I can confirm that there is no online mode.

I just got it in the mail a couple days ago, and I haven't had a chance to play it yet. I'm gonna be able to on my road trip tomorrow though. It looks fabulous.

I actually got to play a bit of it on my friend's PSP.

I chose the Theif class at the beginning and from what I experienced, the battle system was interesting and gameplay basically flowed like this: take on a quest, run into a familiar character, battle a few enemies and then wash, rinse & repeat.

although, with most other games that formula would seem kinda boring, I didnt get too bored; but then again I only had it for about 10-20 minutes. it seems to be pretty promising... I cant wait to snag a copy.

I'll probably go pick it up this week.

The way that the characters level up reminds me a lot of the system used in Final Fantasy XI, so should be interesting.

I know not to expect anything tremendous plot-wise considering it;s a cross-over game, but even so it would be nice to have a title that is engaging to a degree.

Even so, it shouldn't be a bad game overall. It'll just lack the development that generally makes that Tales series excel.
