Is my team good enough to beat the elite four? - Page 3

Yeah thanks to( i've forgetten there name ) for rating my team. I don't really think that strength is a weak attack it has a power of 80 not a power of 20 so that's not bad.


I got rid of the pelipper for a level 43 loudred so I think thats better. I also got rid of the catstoform for a level 42 golbat so thats good too.

I'm going to evolve both of them to crobats and explouds so thats also good.

Could someone tell me which kind of moves should I use against sidneys shiftry because it reall annoys me with swagger and extrasensory.

Also how long does it take for berrys to grow beacause I water my Persim berrys every hour or so with a wailmer pail and nothings happening to them. persim berrys are really useful against the elite four.

Be sure to grow tons of Leppa Berries. They're very useful, since they can restore 10 PP. That way, you don't run out of the ability to use your moves.

Heh heh. He could take out Shiftry. Give him a Persim Berry, just in case, and Aerial Ace/Air Cutter or Sludge Bomb should take him out.

Work up attack EVs and all your opponent will hear is BOOM! BOOM! BOOM!!! DT is good, since it'll last until Exploud gets KOed or switched. Then, your opponent will barely get to touch you. I prefer Hyper Voice to Return. Although Hyper Voice's base power is only about 12 less than Return at tops, it's a trademark move for this guy and can hit 2 in double.

Yeah, an annoyer is good, but I like to take advantage of Crobat's need for speed to take out all who oppose quickly.

But he can make a great annoyer, especially if you toss in Double Team. Heh heh, no wonder Koga liked this guy so much. He's evily awesome!

bug types are also good against all of Sydney's pokemon. My favourite is Armaldo against everything. Use something like Fury Cutter and it does horrible damage. But I guess the Sludge Bomb is more powerful against Shiftry since it can knock it out in one shot.
