	lotad-his stats might be lower, but I like his type combo more. Water guards grass from fire and ice, grass guards water from electric and grass. This leaves him with only weak to bug, poison, and one other type. Also, his ability makes him a good anoyer with rain dish, leftovers, rain dance, leech seed, and any other moves.

	Lotad by far. His stats compliment his types, he has a wide movepool that lets him be an annoyer, a tank, and a sweeper, depending on how you want him. Seedot has a high attack stat rather than Sp Atk (which helps neither grass nor dark moves), and his movepool is minute. 	Noits right in every way. I had so much trouble training Seedot at the start, since it only has Bide. Plus Seedot looks stupid (in my opinion).

	Seedot only has Bide, so it is realy hard training him (unless you get EXP share). Lotad can learn surf after the 5th gym, so i would pick lotad.

	Not to mention when Lotad fully evolves into Ludicolo he can become a pretty good Tanker as well. Shiftry really would be a "Half Stabber". (Just made up basically means all he is really beneficial to is to take about 1/2 the life out of one pokemon and then faint. ------------------- You don't see just how wild the crowd is?
