Okay, so my copy of the game has finally been found after SOMEONE *cough*brother*cough* lost it. Anyway, when I've played the game before, I've never been able to get a set of Gracie furniture because of the price - I've never been able to get a mansion either. My point is, can someone tell me the best way to make lots of money fast?

Well the best way i've made money is to get involved with the Wi-Fi community we have got here Bring back foreign fruit and plant them in your town, then when they're fruit trees, sell the fruit and you will get a good amount of money (depending on how many foreign fruit trees you've grown)

Another way is to time travel (not advised) or wait until a special event occurs because usually you can get furniture which sell for a lot at Tom Nooks.

You can also get interest if you put money into The Bank Of Nintendo. Obviously the more that you put in there the better the interest.

Fishing. It's boring work after time but you do get quite a few bells from it. Especially around this season where the more rarer, pricey fish come out

This is how i make money, i hope some of these methods work for you too!

Definately fruit, for starters. Plants tons of orchards of foreign fruit. If you don't have wifi [like me], you can send fruit in letters to your neighbors. They will send you a letter back, usually with a gift. Sometimes it will be a foreign fruit, which you can plant to get a tree. Just take the fruit from that tree and keep adding to your orchard.

Once you have a bundle of cash saved up and maybe have some extra, try investing it in the stalk market. Best way to make money, in my opinion. You buy turnips for about 90-110 bells [per turnip] from Joan on Sunday mornings, and then check Nooks prices in the morning and afternoon during the week. If it's more than you bought them for, sell for a profit. They will spoil by next Sunday though, so don't wait too long to sell.

This costs quite a bit of money, but the profits are enormous. I just bought about 300K worth of turnips today at 97 bells. So if the price sometime this week was at around 300, I would have nearly 1 million if I sold them all. Quick and easy profit, if you're lucky and get good prices. Last week I sold for 133, and the week before I sold for 508. It all depends on luck, so be careful.

edit: Also, the Harvest Festival is coming up [26th I believe? I may be wrong though]. Get fork&knife from Tortimer and then find Franklin the turkey [he'll be hiding]. He'll give you a piece of Harvest Furniture. Repeat this to get lots of furniture and sell it for tons of cash. Event furniture sells for quite a bit, and you can get as much as you want in. Try to get lots before the event ends, it doesn't last all day like most do.

For me,foreign fruit trading!But it's pretty tough for me because...well you probably saw it in that other thread in the subforum!So when it's not Wi-Fi,I do the Stock Market and do fishing in between!Hoped that helped!

You don't need to collect all of the foreign fruit do you?

Each foreign fruit sells for the same price, or is there a bonus after you have every fruit in your town?

I find both ways pretty usefull:

•find fun in scavenging about for fruit. Not my favorite if you can't tell, but It works! Also fish isn't all that bad. Just gotta get lucky is all.

People say a lighthouse draws in the rarer fish too. But you're gonna need to have the money already to afford one. Downer

Travel back in time to October 31st. Set the time to 6:00.
Then store all of your items somewhere, and then replace those items with apples. Then talk to one of the villagers. He/She will perform a "Halloween" styled trick on you.... turning your apples to jack-in-the-boxes... which you can sell for like 1,000 bells each at Tom Nook's. Repeat as many times necessary.

you seem to know some cheats around to it.

Lol.. I've gotten like a billion weeds from it, and several of the villagers in my town have moved out...in which I'm assuming is because I time travel so much....lol... and it gets boring after a while.
So I recommend time traveling only to people who don't care if their villagers move out or if they get a ton of weeds from it.... cuz then they would probably just do it for the money, or furniture, etc.
