and aparently, Nihilanth talked to Gordon... hmm... combines existed since HL1 (and these wristbands Nihilanth wears show that he might have been slave like vortigauns once... combine...)

* "Thieves...you all are thieves...you all are..." Refering to the Crystals that were stolen from Xen.

* "Deceive you... will deceive you" Probably describing the G-Man again.

* "Alone, not you... alone, not you... alone" Possibly a reference to G-Man?

* "FREEEEEMAAAAAANNN!!!!!": The Nihilanth screams out Freeman's name at the very beginning of the game's final battle, indicating that it knows Freeman by name.

i was reading about the faces they used for the game, barney is played by the president of valve. dr. kleiner was some accountant one floor above the valve offices. there's a story about the development team that they were having lunch and spotted this accountant, and all these random programmers who didn't know the source for dr. kliener's face just couldn't figure out why he seemed so familiar...lol. oh, and colonel cubbage was some guy's martial arts instructor.

hmmm.. maybe the Cobine were in fact the Zan [See Half-Life Redemption]
