Hi, if you played magical melody and fomt, you would know how there is a mailbox and you get letters...

If there is a mailbox in this game.. what would you like.?

would you like to be invited to festivals via mail? or maybe send letters over wifi!?

anyway, what are your thoughts..

There is a mailbox. I saw it in a video. Does it have any use though, that I do not know. It probably has the same function it did in the other games. Say somebody has moved in or out, if they are selling something new, or a store advertisement. Maybe in this game they will add letters from people just to say hi. Well, more letters. They were in older games, but only if you got the person to like you so much, and they only sent you that one, no more.

I would honestly like to be able to use the Animal Crossing system of letters as well as the old style (store advertisements, etc.). Basically, you can send out letters too, and as long as they have propper grammar and spelling, the recipient would reply.

That would be a cool idea, but it might ruin the effect of the game. I don't know, usually the people in HM have such a unique personality, that it might seem a little weird to get back a letter from them.

Haha XD That thought is a little weird, it sounded better in my head.

I'd at least like to get a letter every once in a while. I didn't like in FoMT how you only really got one when the year ended, and it was pretty much pointless to check it every day. But maybe if you couldn't write one and actually get a reply, I'd like it better.

I'd like some letters from the town villagers. =D

I liked the MM letters , with some obvious changes of course.

Personally I just prefer getting letters from the villagers occasionally if not at all.

I don't like the idea of making it like ACWW and having the ability to send letters to them. Although it would be a big change in the game.

I think there should be some sort of system where it alerts you to having mail in your mailbox so you don't have to keep checking it. Just please don't send the mayor to tell us like in MFoMT when your mailbox got overly full...

there will probably be a way to tell if there is a letter or not there was in HMMM so they'll probably use the same system

I don't see how HM is very much like HM.

I'd like it if you could send letters over Wi-fi and get invited to festivals that way, but I'd also like it if you could occasionally get a random letter from a villager who you've befriended.

Sending letters and other things to other people via Wi-Fi would be an awesome feature. I'd actually like that a lot.

I think it would be interesting if we could do something like in AC. I mean, sending actual ITEMS. Like, say it's my friend's birthday on HM. Send over a gift! And not just to people in the town, I mean to people through WiFi or something like that.

Or do you think that would ruin the game?

It would be cool if they had Nintendo Wi-Fi for this game, so people could come visit you from their games! But yeah, the mailbox would be a good idea for this. Like, you could send out invitations to your wedding, or so, but then again, the people at your wedding depending on who you marry is already preset..

Well, I know one idea for the mailbox. You know for the date (AKA one of the heart scenes), you're supposed to get a note from the person you will go out with about where to meet her/him and when to meet her/him. That might be useful - but if there's no mailbox, maybe they give it to you in person?
