Here's some info on some "question mark questions" that people have been asking. What is the "A Dark Reward" achievement? Is New Goblin playable in the Xbox 360 version?
I just finished the game before, and I got the "A Dark Reward" achievement upon completion. For those who wish to know what it is, i'll tell you. I'll just say that those hoping to play as Venom will be let down...
The achievement unlocks the Black Suit for free-play. You can switch between suits in the start menu, as you probably have guessed. The cool thing is, once you switch to Black Suit, you can start the entire storyline (every single mission from scratch) using the Black Suit. Switching suits kinda acts as switching game saves. Your normal save will still be in tact, but you can still do the missions again with Black Suit if you want, or you can just roam around in the suit, your choice. All your upgrades will carry over to the Black Suit save, so you'll be as powerul as you can get from the start.
And to my suprise, you can play as New Goblin in the game. It's only for a short period, but you can fully control him, which is something. Halfway through the last mission, you get to take control of New Goblin, and must race to the site where Spiderman and Venom are fighting. The controls seem a bit stiff, but there is a full control layout. You can fly in all directions, use boosts, even throw bombs. Once you arrive at the fight, you must take on giant Sandman using New Goblin, in a very limited fight sequence. All you can do is move up down left and right, not forward or backward. You'll throw bombs at him while dodging the objects he throws (cars, pylons), untill he's defeated. There's about 10-15 minutes of gameplay here with New Goblin, which is quite small, but hey, it's something.
What this tells you? Well, with the large amount of people hoping for Venom as a playable character (as he was in Ultimate Spiderman), we could very well see him included in later DLC. He is a character in the game, which is already half Trayarchs job. Now they just have to create a control scheme. It would really satisfy thousands of Spidey fans, so it'd be a good move.
It also tells you that New Goblin is almost certainly going to be fully playable soon. As you only get to play him for about 15 minutes, especially with a full control scheme, it's likely that Trayarch have plans to include him as a fully playable character. Whether he'll be part of future DLC, or even a secret character already in the game. No one has actually fully explored the game yet. I can tell you that Harry's mansion is enterable at any time, as I entered it earlier on in the game. You can even go in the Norman Osborn's ammunition room where he stores all of his goblin equipment. Once you finish the game there might be an icon in this room that allows you to switch to New Goblin. I'm yet to try that, so who knows.
Anyway, there's the info I have compiled from playing the game. Lots of interesting things to speculate on. ^-^
