Should I ask my mom too get this for my birthday I eard it was good but I want too make sure I only got too play with it for 5 mins. Is there just racing?

It's a great game but yeah there is just racing. What do you expect from a racing game?

If you want a good racing game on the PS3, you can look to this game or Ridge Racer 7. Personally, I think MotorStorm is a good game, but I think RR7 is WAY better.

No, not really. Motorstorm is visually breathtaking though and honestly, if you are into eye candy graphics, you will love this game. However, if you want varied gameplay, this is NOT the game for you. Not only is the gameplay completely limited to "racing" (which I think is fine for a racing game by the way lol) but even for a "racer" this game is VERY limited. Here are its limitations, although some people would argue that some of the things I will list as missing, are actually better off not included:

No varied racing modes like arcade or anything. You pretty much have "tickets" and that's that. ALthough they did add a "Time Attack" you can download for the game.

Anyway, if you are looking for variety dude, this is absolutely NOT the game for you.

What!? RR7? It was fun for three minutes, and then i went on doing something else. Man i wish i wouldn't have bought it... There's no sense of speed, the speedometer claims you're going 180 mph, but the cars look like they're going 50. For me RR7 has been collecting dust for over a month now.

So, MotorStorm is what i'd recommend. I'm still having fun with it, after 6 months. I don't know why, there's just something that has me going back at it over and over.

As for your pointers, Chiro...

1. I guess you mean HUD, not HUG... It doesn't need one in my opinion.
2. No split screen. Yet.
3. This is one thing i agree with you, Chiro. It does get a bit repetitive, at times.
4. No varied racing modes. Again, not yet.

You're better off asking for money and going on a decent night out.

Why should they even worry about this game. It stinks. Like Mnmfan said this game is dead. They better have so much variety in 2 or this will go down the drain.
