this games is alrite the online is not too bad and the controls are good overall ild say 7/10 or 8/10

What the hell was IGN thinking

One of the best shooters I played.

Got it yesterday and its great, got to the rebel side of the story and done a little of the missons so far. Some of the levels are pretty sweet like the Swamp level, but I knew what everyone was saying about the graphics but they are quite bad and I thought they'd be better but whatever.

The online is great fun though especially the team assault modes, the prisoner of war game mode is brilliant and the Swamp mode where you have to burn the crops is hella fun too. I actually prefer being a Rebel now having actually played it, its so much fun booby trapping spots, playing dead and more importantly weapon stealing but only done that once online so far.

i love driving mad online in the vehicles lol great funn i may go and do a ranked macth online later.

My thoughts: Well Haze did itself no bloody favours anyway.

Firtst thought was, after levels 1& 2, that I was going to trade this In for MGS4 when the time comes.

Reached the rebel level and thought: This is really really shit, but it's getting better.

Got a bit further: Ok it's not half bad.

Then I stopped playing campaign, and moved onto Online.

First thoughts where: This is more like it!

You see it has a decent story, poor graphic and a average to very good gameplay setup. However online...I think it made up for its short-comings.

YOu get put into squads and that allows you to get chummy with those 2-3 guys while playing all sorts of game. Then you get game where you start off as a rebel with his hands tied and have to escape to a chopper outside the complex while Mantel Troops work to stop you. Then you have the postive and negative Nectar array of actics, add all this to a online element and you will have some of the best crack you can possibly have. Then again, it just pushes the right buttons to please me. So WITHOUT online I would have said 5/10 for a decent story and gameplay. WITH online I would have to say a solid 7 or 8 out of 10 for just sheer gun carnage, melee mayhem, demolition derby fanwar scenarios it gives. ONLINE IS SO DAMN COOL!

My review: 7.6 out of 10, a let down and a triumph in one.

well i've bought the game yesterday and I like it.
it's not so good as i thought it would be but if this is a big let down i think that the guys who created this game soon will come with updates and that sort of things. atleast i hope so...
but online it's fair enough for me:)

I like it a lot. Better story gameplay than CoD 4 but online could use another map or two and another game mode or two, but overall, I'm very pleased with it. Great game in my opinion

Who the hell is rating these games HAZE is way better than the rating that it got. i will admit it's a bit halo ish but when did that become a bad thing!

My friend and I completed this game so quickly, and the experience was great.
All the reviews and opinions i'm hearing seem to be from people who haven't actually played it. The story is incredibly absorbing and twisty for an FPS, one of the best FPS stories i've seen, the online is great, and the only losses in graphics are barely noticeable.
8.5/10 at the least.

online ok but its not COD4, and its far to short complete it in a day or two

But after all these comments on this forum it's safe to say Haze is taking a undeserved bashing by critics. I'll assume it's worth 7/10 by all standards, it's at least better than Turok.

mm, after playing the demo a few times i was amused by it, but just then i played the demo with my brother, and i really did enjoy it, i will probably buy it, but most likely on ebay or something, but its good to see the price is dropping on haze:)
