Book of Engineers?

	Log in to remove this advertisement I've been done w/ this game for about a week (story mode) and haven't gotten the book of engineers or the last Tome for Explosives. Anyone know if you have to get the book/Tome during the story or can it be obtained at any point in the game?

	the book for guns requires you to do a bunch of french contracts before the french alchemist woman shows up( soz i cant remember her name). This can be anytime during the game, I got mine after the main story line was completed, As for engineering you must get sword,bow,spear to 100% complete and all other books to atleast 70% according to other guides(i havnt got this yet either). 	nfingers, this is a guide according to Xbox360Achievements: quote After you beat the story line quests, you will see the two men talking about strategy when you check gossip. To get the Engineering Tome, you need to 100% research Sword/Horse/Bow so that an Avatar of war will show up and give you the Silver weapons for that squad. You also need to have 70% learned on ALL other Books as well. Once you have 100% on the mentioned 3 and 70% on all the others (Firearms included) and the Avatar will reappear and give you this tome. Note the Avatar shows up in the Tavern

	yes EricF has the much better explanation of the Book of Engineers depending if your playing ps3 or xbox. on ps3 its Sword/Spears/Bows for silver weapons. i cant say for xbox though
