Is there anybody out there that can successfully get me through this level?
If so you will be given (God) status!!!
No matter how many escort ships i destroy i cannot land on the carrier. (always run out of time)must be missing something? i've spent about 30 hours trying, can't do it!
Please if anybody can help i would be eternally grateful!

Unfortunately there is no easy way to do it. I just got through this part of level 5 and it took me a long time to do it with only a few seconds to spare. The first thing I do coming out into space is to switch to the missles that lock onto the other ship when your targeting system goes red. There are also cannons that lock onto the other ships too. If you are following a ship and it isn't moving around too much I suggest the cannons. Once all the fast moving fighters are gone and you have exhausted your missle supply you can swith to the other missles and take out the slower ships. The big thing for me was taking out the guns on the main rustler ship. For that you'll need to be positioned just right and use your cannons. Good Luck!

how the heck do you board the carrier while its moving????
god this is getting really annoying because i have to go clear those two rooms and destroy all the fighters just to not be able to land
any help??
