Hi, this is my first year taking Spanish I and I'm wondering if any fluent Spanish speaker(s) are willing to help me out.

So, I have a sheet that needs to be filled out and the questions follow:

"Hoy es el treinta de julio. Es lunes?". <-- That should mean "today is July 30th. Is it Monday?", correct? So after that dialogue there's a line for me to finish it. I'm just wondering if I have to write "No, es __(day of the week)." and refer to the calender above? well, that's another thing. I'm a bit confused on what day of the week to write. It's a normal calendar, which is of course in Spanish. Just a bit stumped on what to say..

<sub>July 30th was a Monday, and usually, I'd guess that the person was asking the wrong day of the week and you needed to correct them. I'd have written "si, es lunes".

Of course, I haven't had Spanish homework in six years, so ignore me if I'm confuzzling.</sub>

Although learning Chinese for me wasn't difficult at all, but I forgot all of it now. I only took the class as an elective for four months.
