That's because the 'h' is mostly silent in Spanish, so saying "haha" in Spanish would be like saying "ahah" in English. "Jaja" in Spanish is pronounced like "haha" in English. Get it?

No, that's not "exactly what you said." You just said that "to your ears, the sound was more equivalent to 'haha' than to 'jaja'." I gave a (not-so-great) explanation as to why Hispanophones use the onomatopoeia "jaja" when expressing laughter in written form. If you can't discern one post from the other, then you obviously have some sort of visual or mental impairment.

I wouldn't normally be so polite, but seriously, you're kind of sad.

Metafor, I knew that, and that was exactly my point in the original post, that English and Spanish speakers write the same sounds differently due to varying pronunciation. To write exactly what I said over again, as if I didn't know it is tremendously insulting to my intelligence.
