What's the point of a hall of fame for a forum that is only a few weeks old? It seems to make no sense whatsoever. Is it just some pat on the back for people who think they deserve recognition? Honestly I see no reason whatsoever for a hall of fame. This forum is not very well established and therefore should wait before trying anything such as this.
Besides the point a hall of fame should be saved for those who have contributed greatly to the forum. I honestly do not think anyone has done enough so far to be warranted in any type of hall of fame.

Can someone explain the point of the hall of fame? To me it seems to do nothing other than encourage spamming. People should not be rewarded for posts amounts and such through things like this. Honestly I think it's pretty pointless and serves nothing more than to make certain people feel important.

But what is the point of having the hall of fame? Because it's "nice" isn't a viable reason. There are plenty of ideas "that are nice" but are never put into effect. So what makes this worth all this time and effort? It means nothing, it contributes nothing for the greater good of the forum. It serves as nothing but a pat on the back for a few people and a chance for YOU to feel important.

The reason this got put into effect while many other ideas don't is the same reason this forum got made; somebody put in the effort to make it work. If you don't like it, that's fine, nobody asked you to. It's no skin off your nose. First of all the reason for the hall of fame is completely different for the reasons this forum was made. The forum was made so that people from Hispanic countries, and areas where hispanics live could network together and discuss issues related to hispanic countries. The reason for the hall of fame is that "it would be nice."
Secondly yes it does make YOU feel important because you do this for all these forums to try and make it out like you are the great organizer. The fact is you like to be in control of everything and take over as if your opinion is final.
Besides that the hall of fame set up for this is a complete joke. If you want to see a much more organized (though not very well updated) hall of fame check out the one the Neo Emcee's Open Mic has. That rewards people for their overall contributions to the forum based on the opinions of many not just on who posts the most.

You have still missed the point of what I was saying. Why does the thread even exist? There are already lists to recognize all of those things. (Top 25 in each forum, Top 10s at the Community page) It just seems like nothing more than a way for you guys to pat each other and the back for doing nothing.

This is the FEEDBACK thread, so of course I'm giving feedback. Besides I do feel I should speak out about something that is absolutely *bleep*ed. I really need not say anything more as it won't make much of a difference. Too much DR going on this forum.

I and at least one other member have concerns about the recent promotion of wild hazz to moderator of his forum. He has shown an inability to speak anything close to resembling proper English. Communication is an extremely important part of moderating and on an English language forum site such as Neoseeker a moderator should be expected to speak English fluently.

They will not listen to anything close to a reasonable criticism. The best way to deal with such issues is out in the public. Any other way is just because people are scared of the truth. The truth is that this member should not be a moderator and any reasonable bystander can see this.

I think it was kinda the point of the forum, to provide an alternative to the rest of the English-speaking site. Speaking English in here is like speaking Spanish in America: Although it will help, you're better off with the native language. No in fact that was one of the main concerns in the petition for this place. Many of the biggest arguments against this is that it would encourage people not to speak English.
Also for those way say I am not a member of this community...since when? In fact just ask Metafor the original mod of this place. I used to frequent this place all the time, but then every thread was hijacked with Spanish discussion. So I left, because I could no longer communicate with the forum.

Now you do not even know the definition of flaming. Flaming is insulting someone, I am not insulting you. I am saying that your limited understanding of English is an impediment to your ability to be a moderator. That is a legitimate concern, not flaming. The fact that you are making baseless accusations of flaming is not good either.
You have shown me nothing that refutes my claim that you are unqualified as a moderator. I am sure you are a good person and all, but you are simply not qualified.

But the problem is that he clearly can not communicate well in English. He has shown this in this and other threads already. I would not have a problem if he went out and learned English a little more.
I mean it would not make sense for me to be the moderator at a French forum. When my knowledge of the language is very basic (one year of high school French). It is absurd to think that someone not skilled in a language can moderate discussion.

So what should I do? Speak like I don't know English so that he understands me? This is the exact problem I have been getting at from the very beginning. If the English language confuses him, then he should not be the moderator on an English language forum site.

Warning for what? I have not broken any rule, so banning me is completely unjustified and would just prove my point.
My point from saying that is that nearly every thread became overwhelmed with the Spanish language. This doesn't occur at any of the other localized forums. Europe has a few threads in other languages, but the general threads are all English. Same with Asia, Africa, America, England and Australasia. The site is an English site and the moderator of a forum like this should be fluent in both English and Spanish. Anything less is unacceptable.

How is that relevant at all? This is an English site and as such should conduct all formal business in English. The discussion threads in a forum such as this can (and should) have discussion in a different language. But certain threads(such as this) require the moderator to fully understand the English language. Which you yourself have said he is not capable of doing.

Edit again: I know He's right about I'm not good with English and I know that, After 3 warnings he didn't stop saying the same own opinion.
The reason why I've banned M_N_M was because he didn't shut the hell up and that for me is spamm, after 3 hours of conversation.
