Mexico
The United Mexican States is a federal constitutional republic in North America. It is bordered on the north by the United States; on the south and west by the North Pacific Ocean; on the southeast by Guatemala, Belize, and the Caribbean Sea; and on the east by the Gulf of Mexico.
Because of the country's location it has a warm climate and the temperatures stay about the same all year around.
The United Mexican States is a federation comprising thirty-one states and a federal district, the capital Mexico City, whose metropolitan area is one of the world's most populous.
Covering almost 2 million square kilometers. Mexico is the fifth-largest country in the Americas by total area and the 14th largest in the world. With an estimated population of 109 million, compared to Sweden's 9 million inhabitants. It is the 11th most populous country and the most populous Spanish-speaking country in the world.
Many seem to think that Mexico is a poor country, perhaps because of the American Media, but it's actually the classed as an upper middle-income country.
Alot of the country's ecomony comes from it's tourism. Mexico is said to be one of the world's largest tourist destination. The currency in Mexico is called Mexican Pesos.
Mexico is very much like a pot of different cultures. This is probably because of the large number of imigrants, 1 million. It has the most immigrants in the whole US.
Because of this Mexico has no official religion, instead the country looks upon all religions as equal ad support all of them.
The country does not even have an official language, even though most speak spanish.
Mexico also has a very interesting kitchen. It has inspirations from both the Azteks and the Maya's. The food is often very spicey and intense. The official dish is actualy tacos. Chocolate was also first discovered here.
Because of, yet again, the many different cultures Mexico has alot of different sports. Alot of common sports are very popular, such as baseball, soccer and american football. Some not so usual sports include bullfighting and the national sport, Charreada.
Charreada is a type of rodeo. There are different genres of it, in some you are to catch a bull and in others horses.
In conclusion; Mexico is an exciting melting pot of cultures which has been very fun to research about.
