Heh, I'm planning on doing the opposite actually - growing out my hair for the first time in over 2 years. I don't plan on cutting it until Thanksgiving. Should be a change of pace, considering I am always shaved bald. Want to see if I can actually grow hair anymore or not

So, after a long and tedious hell, I finally managed to unlock Soren's epilogue scene. (and his base conversation, but that part was only hell because I was too lazy to make the effort to complete FE9 again)

Now all I have left to do to complete the replay event archive is kill Mist and Gareth.

Still forum stalkin'. can't really be bothered to post much, anymore, though.

Advance Wars and Advance Wars 2: Black Hole Rising are related and take place on the same continent, but you don't HAVE to play the first to understand the second, it just helps a bit. Dual Strike is less related to Rising than Rising is to the first, with Dual Strike taking place on a different continent. You just have a lot of the people from 1 and 2 appearing in Dual Strike. Days of Ruins is in no way related, with a lot of the vehicles having different movement range, attack strength or units it can hit.

Stay away from Days of Ruin at first; it's set in a different and altogether more depressing universe. The other three form a loose trilogy, but you don't need to play them all in order. I never played the original Advance Wars and liked/understood Black Hole Rising and Dual Strike just fine. If you ask me, Black Hole Rising had the best gameplay. Dual Strike was pretty broken and Days of Ruin was too mundane after the first three games.
