OOC: If we didn't have those folks trapped in the west I'd say we should retreat across the bridge and just use the generics as meatshields for a while.

And I don't get why you guys want to fall back on the other side of the bridge. It's a worse place to defend. Hint: right now they are forced to a small and narrow area where they have absolutely no defense and where they can be attacked from both sides with ranged weapons. If you go over the bridge, you lose all these advantages, they get the cover of the forest, you lose mobility for being squeezed in that small place, and trap Shelby, Ricky and Tomerez to boot. It would be a much better idea to just get the generic spearmen there; they are good defenders (unlike many player characters, they can take a fireball and two hits from a swordsman and survive.) Just kill that enemy spearman and block the way with one of ours.

Discriminate not against the NPC. They are a part of this force, as well - our brave red shirts soldiers.

OOC: Right, and a few things I wanted to say.

First, the character cap will stay. However, new characters can still be created, as long as they have a good enough justification. So no more fillers.

Second, I am considering a few tweaks to the rules when this chapter is finished. Before I pass the changes, I'll listen to your opinions on these.

OOC: Good ideas, I approve & support them.

Also, for my characters & they're neighbors, I'm thinking of this.

Mithos to (4,10) Soothe on Tuna
Tuna to attacks 6 HP myrmidon with short bow.
Arthur moves to (5,11) & waits.
Katherine to (7,11), & waits.
(10,12) Soldier to (8,11)

Just need approval from Ranger & Rabbit to carry it out. I don't want to kill the enemy soldier, because then Tuna will likely get killed by the myrmidon/mage combo. So I'd like to stall the soldier while Tuna picks off the myrmidon with his bow. Once we do that, we can kill the Soldier (who will likely only combat the generic soldier there, so that may take a few turns at least.) we can attack the mage, & kill it, if the ballista doesn't get to it yet.

If the mage is killed then Hrothgar will move to 8,9 and attack the Myrm at 6,9. I'm assuming 7,9 isn't transversible. Someone let me know if it is.

I just don't want to kill the soldier just yet, considering Tuna's at a high risk to die if the soldier dies, because the mage & the swordsman can attack him then.

OOC: That's fine; we just need to tweak my plan a little in order to do so. Instead of the Archer going to that spot, Ivy could and heal. The Archers could then attack the Spearman and either Elyssia OR Garret could get the kill exp.

What we have so far:

Well, we still have yet to use the Ballista... I thought we could have done that, but Tomerez and the Archer attacked, so it would kind of be overkill to use it now. I guess April can attack and if she doesn't kill him, the Wyvern rider can.
